My husband took ours back to the dealer about a week ago because he didn't feel it was cooling well. The dealership found that it did not have enough coolant fluid??? or whatever they have in them......charged it and it works great now, in fact, after a while we have to shut it down we get cold. I hope that helps someone.

I have also noticed a great deal of attention from all ages........and questions from young single gals. Saw one with a billit grill the other day.........nice!!! I have seen so many thing to 'trick' out the edge already.......sure to be a popular car for sometime I think! :yup:

I love my redfire metallic too........but the edge would look great in the 150 red too. have to agree......but not as pretty.......not to me.....just red. lol. I can't believe there doesn't appear to be a red in the 2008s at all.......of any kind!

No red at all in 2008?? what the heck? not even my berryred?? Have they lost their minds......do like the blue ice though.

I enjoyed my suburban but got tired of the truck size parking and being the bus for everyone. We have a family of long legged people and going to something smaller was my dream until we found the Edge. My son says it has more leg room in it than the suburban did. I love the ride and the gas tank isn't eating me alive either. We just returned from about a 300 mile trip and got 24 mpg at 72 mph. I have about 1200 miles on my edge already.......we live 20 miles from anywhere.......and my husband drives it to work at least 2 days a week 80 miles round trip on the highway. We have had 2 issues the service people have dealt with and fixed. Our a/c didn't cool as fast or as well as we thought it should.......needed a/c stuff......sorry, can't remember the name of it..........and we had to have brake rotors changed out......they shimmied when we stopped. I have not looked back for my suburban AT ALL. Everyone tried to tell me I would........no regrets here.

I don't notice the reflection when I am driving so far, however, I was wondering if a mat would help. Will be watching to see. I will say that our a/c didn't perform well and we took it in......they added a/c fluid, whatever I am not a mechanic......anyway, it was low from the factory. Works great now in 90 plus heat.........freezes me out! Just thought I would suggest getting it checked. We had to have new brake rotors right away too. It shuttered when we stopped...........perfect now. We still love our Edge........ :stats:

I am also very glad I read this. I wouldn't want to not be able to use the back arm rest with 2 kids! They would sit too close......ha. I wouldlike to have a cover.......wouldn't you think they could come up with something that even just laid across the back? Guess I will have to work on that.......maybe that is my millionaire maker! LOL

I hope our gas mileage does that trick! To date we are getting 20-21 dual city/hwy driving. I am hoping for at least 23. Our Buick we traded made 27 and our Suburban 15....... Oh, ours is the Redfire too..........We opted for the bottom of the line with several add ons......planning to add leather down the road. I really like the two tone I saw on here. Kay

well, traded our 02 Suburban for an 07 Edge day before yesterday. so far, we just love it. I don't miss the BIG machine when I park for sure! I am sure I will love the gas mileage comparison as well! My 6'1" son says that there is more room in the back seat than there was in the suburban.....go figure. He enjoyed driving the Edge yesterday too and decided it was 'pretty cool' . I had several people gawking trying to figure out what kind of car it is.......and already many questions from people about it. I am happy to have found this forum to keep updated on any new things coming out etc. I do have a question........is there anyplace I could have seen the cargo organizer thing? I saw one on the edge website.....is it the same as what would have come from the factory? and is there any kind of cargo cover you can add? that I will miss on trips..........I guess covering things with a blanket on a trip would work.......but rather have a cover of some type. Happy :hyper: to be an Edgie person! Kay
