  1. Please let me know if you receive this attachment Service Order written for similiar problem on right rear (psgr side). This certainly corrected the problem. No more rattle thanks for a great dealer service dept. correction to attachment -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2. Same here too ! Love the Michelins LT's quote name='akirby' date='08 March 2010 - 12:30 PM' timestamp='1268069439' post='36867'] Ditto. Sometimes you actually get what you pay for.
  3. I realize my question was poorly worded but I do know what GLASS is ! I should have asked about the black painted areas around the glass. I wasn't sure about that area since the rest of the car is Creme Brulee. I was just trying to figure this out BEFORE I went to detailer so I'd iknow if he was BSing me or not. Thanks for taking the time to respond and thanks for your suggestions.
  4. I'm about to have my 2007 Edge detailed. Should the BAMR and entire roof be waxed/polished like the rest of the car exterior? If not , How should it be cleaned/maintained? I couldn't find anything on this in the Owner's Manual. Thanks for your assistance.
  5. Sounds like the way mine started out and just got worse. Took Edge to dealer today and they took one look and said they would order new wheels. Hope the replacements are better quality.
  6. Maybe this will help. Edge Fan Group: Members Posts: 16 Joined: 25-July 07 Member No.: 1,150 I'm having trouble setting the memory/seat feature on my new Edge. My wife uses #1 tranmitter and everything works great for her. I use #2 transmitter and the seat function works fine, but the mirror goes to a generic setting. I have to tip the mirror up when ever I use the car. I'll press "set" like it says in the maunual and within 5 secs I'll press the "lock" or "unlock" button on the transmitter, then press "2" on the set button. It will not stay there if I exit the car and lock the door, because when I unlock the door to re-entry,the mirror moves the generic seting. If I don't lock the door, the mirror won't move from the last time I set it. I hope this makes sense to someone, because I don't know what i could be doing wrong and the dealer said they couln't find anything wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated. I was following the same directions that you were and I could get one set but not two. I went to MyFordEdge.com and downloaded 2007 Edge owners manual to see if it gave the same directions. No they are different as shown on pages 116 & 117. These directions are a lot different!!!! Both 1 & 2 seem to be working properly now. Activating the memory feature. 1. Position the seat and mirrors to the desired positions. 2. Press the SET control on the driver's door panel. 3.Within 5 seconds, press the 1 or 2 control on the drivers door panel to associate with the Driver 1 or Driver 2 position. 4. Press the SET button again. 5.Within 5 seconds, press a button on the associated Intergrated Keyhead Transmitter. 6. Within 5 seconds, press the 1 or 2 control on the driver's door panel to associate with the Driver 1 or Driver 2 position. Hope this works for you too. MPG??????

Have 2007 Edge FWD since Aug.,07 approx 6,000 miles. On two 1200 miles trips and 2 300 mile trips I averaging 24-26 MPG driving 65-75 MPH. Averaging 19-20 MPG around town and mixed driving. No complaints here.
  8. ACLazer, Great pics looks nice. Question, Where did you get the tailgate protector? Is that the one fron FORD that has "EDGE" embossed on it? Thanks
  9. Not a $750.00 option. When buying my SEL Plus in Aug, the standard wheel was a 17 inch. To upgrade to a 18 inch(not chrome plated) was a $350.00 option. The 18 inch chrome plated was a $750.00 option. So the way I see it, it's only $400.00 option for the chrome plated.
