My wife's 2007 Edge SEL has almost 80K on the clock and was wondering if I should change hoses and belt(s) at this time. a mechanic friend told me just the belt(s) and flush cooling system. Any thoughts? Should I stay with OEM parts? Thanks in advance.

Never mind. After some research there isn't anything I can do. The turn signal indicator is part of the gage cluster. I'll live with it.

Before anybody flames me I would like to know if I can get a different turn signal indicator that's not so loud? I'm not old but it is the loudest of any car I've owned TIA

Well the new strut mounts did not solve the creaking issue. I've tried all of your suggestions...I also neglected to say that when I got an alignment after the initial install,I had to get new tie rod ends because of wear(according to the alignment shop). Could these be the culprit? If not,I'm going back to stock and see if the noise goes away.

Right a 60K. thanks for the info. I'm getting new caps installed in a couple of weeks.

After all summer of hearing the creaking,I finally took the car back to the mechanic who did the installation and he had it for a whole day and determined it's the driver side strut bearing cap. I bought new caps(oem Ford)h new shocks when the springs were installed. I'm hoping this will solve the creaking noise for good. He even took the caps apart and greased them,but to no avail. I'm crossing my fingers this time.

The noise comes from turning while going real slow...as if in line at a drive-up window. It doesn't happen when going straight. I had the car aligned 3 days after the drop and the noise appeared immediately. Seems to be coming from the pass side front. Which bushings are you referring to? Thanks for the reply.

Well it's been a month now and still have the creaking noise. Could the whole assembly be installed improperly? I trust the mechanic that did the install...

It's more sportier...but I would not say firmer. What's gone is most of the annoying upper body roll when turning. My wife cannot tell it's lowered and she even thinks it rides better...happy wife=happy life :-)

Thanks...I can't remember a winter like this in all my adult(over 21) years....now it seems as is spring(sprinter)is just as bad...oh well I had one nice day to clean up the Edge.

Freshly washed,clayed,Meguiars105,4Star UPP,and new H&R springs. Could not any happier with this look and ride.

Just got my 07 Edge lowered with H&R springs and I love the look and ride. My question is when I turn I hear a creaking sound. So far it's been only when I'm turning and driving real slow. I heard it during a trip to a fast food joint during my wait in line. I haven't had the car aligned yet(will do so on Tues this week),maybe it needs to "break-in". Any thoughts on those who have already lowered their Edges.

Thanks for the reply! I've been looking on line and found a complete set of struts/shocks for $180. I've never heard of Sensen shocks,but they claim to be OE supplier to Audi,VW,and some other European manufactures. Ever heard of them? Also,KYB and Monroe are my other choices.

Besides springs,should I get new shocks? Car has 56K on the clock. What would the alignment specs be? Any help is appreciated.

Black wow is agreat product,but $$. I can get almost 2 yrs worth out of Black Again for 10$
