My sunshield for the front portion dropped off when it was 2 weeks old. Took the dealer another 2 weeks to get in a replacement. All fixed, but since then I have noticed the "rattling" sound. Had my son ride in the back and he said just that, the rear window on the pasenger side is where the sound is coming from. Thought it was something they left inside the headliner when they replaced the sunshield. Going in for it's first oil change this week. I'm going to make them look at it again. It is annoying. My 9 year old Taurus with 100,000+ miles didn't rattle. My 03 EB Exp with sunroof doesn't either. For the price, should be tight and not because of the tape. The hot days could have somthing to do with the tape failure.

Mine's finally going in to replace the sunpanel on Tuesday. I'm going to find out where mine are! I knew something wasn't right with the cup holders...

Ohio too you save on plates Mine N8WRG Still not sure where to put the antenna....currently using HT for commute on simplex. Let me know where you decide to place the antenna. Thought about a trunk type mount on the hatch. BAMR - no holes in my roof! regardless

Dealership called, they have to order another sunshade. When it comes in, they have to remove the entire headliner to install. Apparently, it's like a blind, and a spring has sprung. I can open my BAMR, but have to be careful when doing so Sometime in the next week or so, and they will provide me a loaner. Nice, hope it's not like the Taurus I've read about on other posts. Leave it to me to be the first. :shades:

OK it's hot in Cincinnati, but I am parked in a garage. At lunch, I wanted to open the sunshield and BAMR to impress friends who have been itching the last few days to take a ride. WELL, just past 1/2 way back the sunshield began to fold DOWN towards my head. It seems to have come of the guides along both sides of the top. Anyone else having this problem. The dealer can't look at it until Thursday afternoon, and said since they haven't had it happen they don't know how long it might take to fix. Only that they would have to pull the entire assembly. I love my Edge, even plan on trading in for 08 LTD since it has so many more features. OH did I mention, I picked it up 2 weeks ago today

Creme with Camel interior & BAMR - in Cincinnati 99+ humidity. Wish I could use the vent with the sunshield, but leaving the four windows open about an inch helped. Also ugly silver thing in the windshield. I'll let you know thou, it's supposed to be 107 today, and there is NO SHADE in the lot where I park. I agree the camel interior with the Creme exterior does stay cooler, even than my 99 Taurus gold with camel leather. It's even been too hot to drive with the sunshields open, even after dark! But then, I love winter!!!!

Welcom to the Creme Club. Hubby doesn't even go to the drivers door anymore. in 2 weeks he's driven about 30 miles. He has the 03 EB Exp. and I HAVE THE EDGE I am planning to have the front windows tinted to give it the finished look. ENJOY :shades:

:hyper: Gotta look into the clear. That would make a difference. Yes on the BAMR LOVE IT Sirius, Nav, I don't think there's anything that's not on it! I sure have turned some heads the last 2 days!

Picked mine up last night - SEL + Everything I wanted. Hubby said it was a nicer ride than our 03 Exp Traded my 99 Taurus. Sorry to say bye to it, but SOOO happy with the Creme' Color
