  1. I wish I would get a whole new unit, my 2011 Edge with the turn by turn voice navigation has not worked for 2 months since purchasing it. Had I know about the trouble with this system I would have never bought the vehicle. I am told the delaer needs cables to even have the dealer work on it and then I call to see if they got them yet and they tell me no but even if they did Ford has advised them not to work on them until they get a fix for this problem. So I do hope I hear something soon
  2. been 4 weeks now, still no calls or answers. Waiting for some sort of cables and a flash drive to come in. So anyone being told to take it to dealer for flashing the sync module, don't bother till they get all these parts in.
  3. I am looking for some answers to why the CD player in my 2011 Edge does not show the title or artist when playing a CD. I play store bought cd's and have tried several and still no info is shown. Is this a problem to the Sync problem Ford is having?

  5. I have the same problem with my 2011 Edge. Sync has some serious issues on the software front and Ford doens't know how to fix it yet I do hope the fix comes soon
  6. Same issue with my 2011 Edge, doesn't show artist/title on CD playing. Not sure if this is part of the "Ford Looking for a fix to the sync" issue.
  7. Yes having the same problem with the 2011 Edge. I have had it to 2 dealers and both will try something and then say they are waiting for Ford to give them a fix. Why waste our time with trying to fix something that can't be done until Ford gives them the fix. I am waiting for some sort of cable now to come in, so who knows what this will do. I have pulled the fuse, no luck. It will continue to dial the wrong number until they fix this issue. Lincoln is having the same problems. You would think this would have been addressed before releasing the 2011
  8. I am having the same problem with the sync service. It is dialing the wrong number they tell me. I have had it to 2 different dealers and they each come up with that they need to order parts but they are not the same. Sync says to have them reload the sync module, ford says they have an issue with it. Why Sync isn't saying there is a problem instead of telling us what to tell Ford is beyond me. I am getting frustrated.
