I placed my order for a 2012 Limited, red metallic, on Aug 5 and found out today a VIN has been assigned. Does anyone have any idea as to when this vehicle will be delivered?

Just ordered my 2012 Edge Limited, FWD with 302A Pkg. Dealer indicated delivery should occur in 8-12 wks. We plan on towing Edge behind our motorhome. Changes for 2012 Edge: 1. Change in exterior colors. 2. 2.0 Ecoboost with inique rocker panels. 3. 10 way drivers & pass. seat on Lmt. 4.Foam baffles in fenders & D pillars to reduce noise.

Does anyone have any experience towing 4 wheels down with push button start? Is it doable?

I have been waiting for this issue to be resolved before ordering our Edge. We may waint until early summer to make our purchase.

I emailed Blue Ox three days ago regarding this problem and they have not replied up to this point.

I have not purchased the Edge at this time...I'll wait until these issues are resolved.

I too will continue to research all options and keep all informed.

I am also interested in the 2011 Edge Limited FWD, and plan to flat tow it behind our motorhome. The manual states that all you have to do is place the key in the accessory mode and shft into neutral. Please keep us advised as to issues you experience. Bob

just e-mailed Blue Ox and they indicated the new baseplate is BX2628. This part number will be available for shipment February 18, 2011. Customer Care Representative, Michael Swan sent me an attached file with the new installation instructions. Hopefully this will resolve the problem for 2011 Edge owners. Hope this info helps others.
