  1. Received them and installed them today.. Pics tomorrow. Took me about 1 hour and a half but that's because I confused myself on the wiring at first. Quick suggestion would be to describe what wiring harness to pick each feed wire from. Other than that they look great...excellent job Dan and Cellbine.
  2. Just got my email also..couldn't be happier with the service from Dan and Cellbine..and I expect to see a lot of new pictures next week everyone :-)
  3. KC / Cellbine, Are installation instructions going to be included in the shipment and/or the installation video updated for the new lights? They look awesome.
  4. Just ordered mine...did anyone get the answer whether the stock turn signals can work in conjunction with these or if the setup requires these to be the only front turn signals? Can't wait to get them.
  5. I used the two existing grounding posts. One is near the battery ( just go the right). The other was near the front left of the engine compartment. I had to extend the ground wires to reach the grounding posts.
  6. That was the hardest part of the whole installation..deciding where to mount. I promised myself that I would not drill into any part of the vehicle (except the headlamp dust covers), thus my mounting probably isn't the best but I can remove the system if I ever need to very easily. I mounted the passenger side ballast just to the side of the headlight fixture (mounted vertically against the front of the truck)..its mounted with two sided tape with the mounting bracket removed. The other ballast I used one ot the screws from the air cleaner duct and mounted it horizantally..its not the best installation but doesn't look that bad. The relay and capactor are mounted using two sided tape along the fender wall right in front of the fuse box..i wire-tied everything together to clean it up.
  7. I purchased the 55w, 6000K setup from Todd at Retrosolutions and installed them this past weekend. I am very happy with the lighting. What an incredible difference from the stock lighting. I had an issue with the capacitor and contact Todd, who immediately put a new one in the mail for me. Waiting for it now..in the meantime I am able to temporarily run the system without it (no DRL's)..love the lighting.
  8. I called my dealer this morning as I am suppoed to pick up my new edge this afternoon (YAH ME!!) to check if my Edge was part of the recall. He told me after some research, it appears that 71 edges made during the period of October 25th through the first week of Nov (I can't remember the exact date in Nov) are affected by the recall. Hope this helps.
  9. I also ordered a 2011 Edge SEL. I'm waiting to recieve it but did order the 55w, 6000K Kit from Todd at Retrosolutions. Todd was very helpful with the ordering process and I have read many good things in regards to their support. Retrosolutions website is still valid..the correct address is www.retro-solutions.com You can also PM him on this board and there is a member discount through here. I can't wait to acutally get the vehicle and install them. I'm a little concerned reading some of the comments about light scattering but I think they will do a great job in the Edge. I'd also be curious as to where everyone is mount the ballasts.
  10. Ordered my 2011 SEL two weeks ago and can't wait to get it. In the meantime I just received a set of 55w 6000K HID's from Retrosolutions to install on it. Todd at Retrosolutions has been great to deal with and the price was very reasonable. Can't wait to get the Edge and install them
