07 se FWD no adds 25k out the door. i used the ford Xplan pin. i think i did pretty good.

i have a pewter FWD and mine shifts hard on occasion, the first time it did i thought something snapped and fell out of the car....nada. i think if it hapens again ill take it in and ask them to do that "reset" thing. it scared the crap out of me...i was getting on the freeway in the mid day. scarry

i have fabric seats and drove from san francisco to san diego with no problem at all. no tinglies in the butt or a soar back. i would like more lumbar support but other then that its ok.

i have an SE and i didnt even notice that there was no homelink system till i brought it home....stupid me!! so how would i the homelink system installed and also would it be possible to install vanity lights?? forgot to check for that too!! thanks mucho

where did you find the chrome covers? i have a pewter edge and i think it would look bitchin!!

FWD here. no need for the AWD. i just commute a lot back and forth to school, besides i have a dodge truck if need be. :yup:

SO I JUST GOT MY CAR YESTERDAY NIGHT YEAH :happy feet: BUT I NOTICED TODAY WHEN I HAD THE AC ON THE TWO VENTS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE DONT PUSH OUT AS MUCH AIR AS THE PASSENGER SIDE. IS THAT THE WAY IT IS ON ALL THE EDGE'S?? OR IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE VENTS? IT ALOMOST FEELS LIKE THERE IS SOMETHING BLOCKING 1/2 THE AIR FLOW.....HMMM

i was asked by the dealer im buying from for the issuers name to validate the pin....im not sure if thats ok or not but i never heard of them asking for their name because it is issued to your ssn!!

no vanity plates for me. iv got some pretty cool combos from california. i dont think they offer any discount either, but if anyone knows if they do let me know!! ill make up my own meaning for the plat i get

so im looking for 18" chrome wheels but i dont know what to look for and where. can you give me some ideas maybe share what you have done to your edge. im totally new to pimpin out my car, im a girl what can i say. eeek

well i plan to pay cash for this car and i went through this web site called a fighting chance by james briggs i think and it basically tells you how to buy a car under invoice. and i know what i want in my car and i have already got in touch with about a dozen dealers in my area. on monday im about tolaunch my email/fax attack. which ultimatlry has the dealers competing for my money withou me going to the dealers...its awsome. im just concerned that when i go down to sign all the papers that they might push something on me that i wasnt expecting. and god has bestoyed on me a great body with long legs to boot. so im sure i will go there dressed to kill. ill be sure to post the outfit i wore and MY NEW CAR!!!! i hope it works. i am weel prepared, the reason it will take 3-4 days is that i have to give the dealers time and then call them back and tell them my lowest price and see if they can beat it. i was offered 22k for an SE FWD. an dthat is the car im looking for, also the invoice is 23.9k. so i think thats pretty good. all the stars are lined up for me....end of quarter and end of 07 model. i should get some good deals. id be happy to tellthe final out come. wish me luck!!

so im going to be buying my edge in about 3-4 days and i was wondering if any of you have any tips of what i should watch out for. or if any of you have been screwed over by the dealer and think i should be watchful of something. im a 22 yr old female and i know in some way or another im going to be taken advantage of. but ive done my research and im prepared. just wondering if theres something specific!! please help....i dont want to be bent over more than i have to..if at all!!! thanks

well my story to th edge is a little starnge but true!! so i had a hond civic ex and it was ok, not so much of a car person more of a truck girl!! i got a brand new 03 honda, it was ok because it had great gas millage and since i was 17, i had to pay for gas, honda was my best friend. haha then i got a brand new yellow lab named maggy in 05 and honda worked for a while till she reached about 60lbs, not so good now. i sold it and got a 99 jeep grand cherokee it was ok but i must say i learned my lesson on buying cars from previous owners. that thing was a huge POS but perfect for the dog!! then my mom had a stroke in 06 and in 05 my younger sis crashed awesome comaro (loaded) slp edition i think. so this year she was going back to school and needed a car, so i gave her my jeep to take colorado since it snows like no other!! and i drive my mom around in her acura MDXwhich is nice but a little much for me and my dog is going to destroy the nice leather seats. so since she wants to start driving HER car that leaves me with nothing. as a gift and a thankyou for taking car of the family and juggling college since my mom had her stroke in 06 my dad is offering to buy me a vehicle. and i searched all the other competitors. since im buying a car basically for my dog and all the road trips i take to LA (i live in SF). i was set on the vue until i drove by the local ford dealer and remembered the edge. i went for a quick test drive and was immediatly in love the only thing to check was if the back seats folded flat.......and they did!!! match made in heaven. i also love the leg room, im 5'9" and love wearing 3"-4" heels!! i get my edge next week..........sooooooooooooooo excited!! and so is maggie!
