I am a snob for havng things built in, but if it doesn matter to you it is more than likely cheaper to add it.

I have it too, and I hate it. But Ford is NOTORIOUS for noisy fuel pumps. I told my husband from day one that that was the cause. Mine is VERY loud. People can hear it walking by, it is embarassing, like squeaky breaks, which I have too. I have 13K miles on my SEL plus AWD and I love the vehcile, but am not so pleased with the sounds it is making. I would turn it back in for that darn noise if I could. I hate that noise a lot can you tell it makes me a little crazy

We tried it so many times and we get the same thing, irritating. I just downloaded a program called tryda to my cell phone, I get the addresses from them and plug them into my navigation system. Good luck

If you are comparing the system in the edges to the Acura you will be slightly dissapointed, the system in the Lexus' is way ahead. I do not like ou edges navigagtion at all, it is wrong a lot with "fastest route" even when I set the speeds in the system correcly. If a high tech nav is what you want ford doesnt have it at this time.

For us the price difference was not an issue, so very small. We originally wanted FWD but changed our minds cause the price was negligable. I want as many options as I can get, resale and personal tastses included.

I have this exact truck, we got it in NC, it was in the showroom, they have tons of them in Wilmington NC, capital ford.

it is a 7 by 5 trailer. My dad is a boat mechanic, said it would be a great boat for towing. A whiel back I had a 99 ranger pickup 4 by 4 with the 4.0 v6 and the edge will out tow it. I had a full car trialer with a large f350 i pulled behind it once, I would put the edge up well towing, especially the AWD, but keep it out of overdrive till you get on the highway. I also had a 4 by 4 expedition i towed a lot with, I like the edge against it too!

Hi all, I have an '07 Edge SEL plus in AWD, creme brulee with light interior. My Husband and I debated over the lincoln and the edge but decided on the edge. I love it but sometimes I still wish I had the lincoln. AS for other things it is a great vehicle. We have towed a light enclosed triler with ease and taken2 long road trips. I love the sunroof, but dont like the antiquated Naviagation. It does everything we needit to and looks great. Akready have 8K miles since september!! GLad to see you all!

DOes the new disk, version 6, add anything else? My husband and I are shopping for a car for him and in the process have seen that most nav systems have little POI icons, I want them!! Ingrid
