I'm here with some highway MPG I recently got from my honeymoon trip(Vancouver -> Lake Louise/Bannf/Calgary -> Vancouver -> Tofino -> Nanaimo -> Vancouver). Drove 2874.2 KM with 290 Liter of gas purchased, so 10L/100KM or 23.5MPG (EPA:24MPG). I'm really impressed with the result since mostly I was coursing around 120~130KM/h, 150~170KM/h at passing. :hyper:

In Canada I got 2.9% for 36 months leasing on SEL+.

Just called Ford and they want me to drop my Edge at dealer let them check again, so obviously whining is NOT normal. I'll keep you guys update on this. Mine is AWD SEL+, in city I'm getting 13MPG (I know, this number sux) and 21.5MPG on highway.

Sounds silly but I really can not find those spark plugs on engine. Can anyone tell me where are they? Thanks a lot. :happy feet:

Don't worry about it. Actually the difference is big in person than on foto, maybe it due to automatic white balance of my 20D. Next step is switch 9005 high beam to yellow for my trip to banff next month.

Thanks for the info. The whining noise I'm complaining is not as same as what you hear at ON position. This whining is more electric noise alike (like charging a capacitor), you won't notice there is whining if you are not concentrate. But anyway I'll talk to the dealer once again.

Now mine is slowly getting better. Mixed freeway(40)/city(60) was 16mpg, latest tank was about 13MPG of 100% city driving, trips was short though, only about 10KM and lots of lights (10 of them!!). But when I came back from Whistler she gives me 23.5 highway mpg which is pretty good. :-)

I got whining from rear half of my EDGE, and dealer told me that was the fuel pump, and that's normal. The whining is not loud but enough to notice though, so can I fix it by replacing it? And does your EDGE whining as well? Any input helps. Thanks.

As far as I know, 2007 model use stereo connector (aka headphone connector) to connect audio source. Fully iPod integration will not as an factory option until 2008. :ph34r: :ph34r:

I finally decided to upgrade my headlight for better performance and style. Stock low beam bulb is bit yellow like most stock halogen bulbs which doesn't stands out at night. Since our headlight does not have the lenses so HID won't be an option. Fog light I picked Yellow, as you know, Vancouver has weather. Shipping list is: 1. 1 set of MTEC 4350K Super White H11 2. 1 set of MTEC 3300K Ion Yellow H11 Both from eBay and cost me $70CAD including S/H (shipping took 2 days via Fedex from Taiwan), and both are rated at 55W just like our stock bulbs so I think there won't be any melting problem. And this dealer offers LIFETIME WARRANTY for their bulbs too. Installation only takes about 20 minutes, there are lots of space under the hood so you can easily remove the low beam bulbs and replace them. Fog light is little hard to reach if you don;t want get under the car, but it still not that hard once you have the connector removed from the bulb. Just be careful not to touch the bulb glass because the oil on our hands will cause overheating to the bulb, that may reduce bulb life. This is the result: Low beam is about 20% to 50% better than the stock in performance, and looks much better at night. Fog light is WAY better than the stock, not just the performance (now you can clear see the light beam from them so the others), they also add a 'PRO' look to my EDGE, I think. :rockon: Compare side by side:
