Just personal prefrence. ALL black wheels makes me think of taxi cabs, no definition. A pain to keep clean, but great if you have a lot of brake dust.

You need a polished lip to seperate the wheel, and the tire.

I have a set of 2010 Sport take offs on my 'Splorer' now, but also have 2012 Sports that I will install as soon as my tires come.

thank you clean them is not to bad but big brake kits would look sweet coming next wildwood brake or brembo...what do you think?

If you think they're too big, why buy the 'Sport' in the first place!

I have 22's on my X.

So I've seen some threads with people discussing the possibility of downsizing the wheels - and I've also noted of course that some people have put on snow tires on smaller diameter wheels.

 

But has anyone actually ditched the 22s permanently in favor of 20s?

 

I think the 22s look cool and all, but I don't like the idea of all that unsprung weight down there. Besides, in relation to the size of the brakes, the 22s are just overkill.

 

Anyone have pics of their 2011/12 Sport with 20 inch wheels?

I wouldn't want to have to clean ALL those spokes on these too big wheels.

The thing everyone forgets when installing Much bigger wheels is...get that baby goin, you ain't stopping anytime soon. You need to upgrade the brakes!

Sorry but that exhaust is horrible. Sounds more like something coming out of a Civic. But like said before, to each his own.

These wheels go for 1000$ each, only for the wheel no tires. I think that's expensive.
