  1. I have 22x9 TSW Snettertons and they are flush with the fenders.. I mean FLUSH!! 9.5 or 10" wide is going to stick out and in my opinion would look hideous. My 22's are 5x114.3 with a 40mm offset.
  2. Sounds like you work in an area that has a ton of experience with Car Audio and it sounds like you know what you are doing.. Be innovative and creative.. Nobody here talks about doing it and hasn't posted pictures of it, so do it yourself and post pictures to us of what it looks like and how it sounds! I don't have the stock sub setup in my Edge but I do have a custom made box for my JL Audio 12 W7 accompanied with my 1000W Mono JL AMP that I am sure would take out those Zapco 400 watters any day!!
  3. I say this with confidence because it has always been the case with my past three Fords that I have owned. Vehicles that I took in for REPAIRS during my WARRANTY that weren't fixed, were always worked on and fixed for free even after my warranty expired. The Dealer and You have the paperwork documented and Its not your fault that the dealer is incompetent and doesn't want to waste the money on you even though you have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with them on Vehicles. I have found that sometimes you truly have to get nasty to get things done.. You can only be nice for so long!
  4. Hell even if they didn't fit, id have them machined to fit.. For that matter, you can have them custom made for less than 6k.. I would never spend 6k on a set of rims.. NOT EVEN IF THEY WERE SPINNERS, LOL.. 2310.00$ out the door for my wheels, and they are really popular brand and tires are very nice. 2300 included warranty on rims and tires for 3 years.. Anything happens to them, they replace them 100%.
  5. I just soaked the heck out of a wash cloth with Armor All and whiped mine down.. No splatter or slinging and they look brand new.. I am sure they won't look brand new for long which Is why the Armor All probably isn't mentioned in this thread.. I have looked into the 3d Carbon Body kit but honestly I like my plastic moldings on Front, Sides and Rear bumpers which is why I just want them painted..
  6. I looked into the 2012 Sport 22's but the price tag on them was ridiculous.. Dealer wanted like 700/rim.. i almost choked.. The 22 TSW Snettertons I have and Tires cost me 2310.00$ installed and from Discount Tire with extra warranty purchased on Tires..
  7. To be honest, I always always wanted a set of Black Rims.. I also happen to know a family friend who owns Central Florida Powder Coating here in Orlando and could get them done for next to nothing but... My wife said DONT GO BLACK and Honestly now that they are on, I wonder if it would look better in black or just keeping them Hypersilver...?
  8. I may have missed a section in this Forum were it is talked about but I have yet to find it and this is the closest topic that speaks about the plastic molding at the bottom of the Edge. Does anyone know if this is possible to be painted? I have an 07 Edge SEL in the Dark Grey and was thinking that maybe they could be sanded down, primed and painted to match the vehicle. This would be done by a body shop but before I find a body shop I figured id ask to see if anyone knew first hand. Thanks!
  9. I totally agree with you 100% on the Yoko's. My 18 inch tires were bald as hell so they were probably the reason why they were so loud but the 22 Yoko's are the quietest tires I have ever had. I don't hear anything out of them.
  10. Pictures are posted under my profile in the "Gallery" section. Album name is Edge on 22's.

  12. Posted like 4 photos the other day and for whatever reason they are being reviewed by a moderator on the page.. Hopefully they are up soon.

  13. No Problem.. I'll have some up later today when I am out of work or first thing tomorrow morning. I will PM you when they are up!

  14. I do not have any other pictures as of right now but I could easily take some. What are you looking for? Up close, side view, rear view?

  15. Thank You! :worship: haven't been able to clean the vehicle since I got them on last week.. Weather has been really nasty in Florida lately.. Hopefully this weekend I can get a nice coat of Wax on and shine the wheels up!
  16. I own a 2007 Ford Edge SEL and have had the same exact problems.. My EDGE A/C blows cold as hell but it takes a while. What I have noticed is that the Driver and Passenger only have 4 vents total... The Passenger vents always blow harder and more efficiently than my driver vents.. I have cleaned the filter numerous times and that is always FORDS explanation.. A piece of paper was blocking the vent.. They have actually told me that 3 times.. Well guess what, there is nothing in my glove compartment... LOL!! I also see that the rear passengers only have those two small vents right behind the center console.. In my honest opinion I feel that the vehicle doesn't have enough vents to cool the entire vehicle off fast enough and that's why its taking time, coupled with not enough pressure. The vehicle is cold as hell once it cools down but it just takes FOREVER.. I live in Orlando Florida and on a HOT day, I can let the windows down and turn the A/C to full blast and recirc and it truly takes about 15 minutes to cool the entire vehicle down to were I am cumfy.. Now I am 6'0 260lbs and very athletic and can say that I love my house on about 70 degrees year round.. i truly love cold air so maybe its just me, but other Edge owners I have spoken too locally state that they wished there AC just had more pressure and hit them in the face.
  17. Took me a while to make my mind up on what I wanted but finally purchased the RIMS and TIRES. Figured I would post a picture of it to let everyone know how it went and looks. Tire: 265/40R/22 Yokohama Parada Spec-X Rim: 22x9 TSW Snetterton Hypersilver [5 x 114.3] [40mm backspacing] As far as power, I really don't feel I lost much if any at all. The Cold Air Intake and SCT Tuner helped tons in this field!
  18. K&N Cold Air Intake on my 07 Ford Edge actually gave me a consistent 3MPG on Highway and 1-2MPG on city driving and never threw a code and it's been in there for over a year!
