  1. Sales seem to be up higher in the past year or so, then they have been in YEARS. I'd say that some people just don't adapt well to Technology. Technology will always and forever be the driving force in the way the world moves. We all love 71' Chevelles with a specially ordered 454 turbo jet in it.. But those days are over, unless you buy one restored. Obviously if people all felt the same way, they wouldn't be all over the Fords. Personally, i sit in my drive way and learn the controls and set them to the way that I want them, then I don't touch them until I am stopped again. Once I have found my control settings that are comfy for me, it's smooth sailing.. Also BTW, never even seen a HAM radio, they are somewhat before my time..
  2. I have MFT in my 13' Fusion Titanium and not only have I installed aftermarket systems for a living at some point and time in my life, but I am a software engineer/network engineer and I can personally say, I have had 0 issues with MFT. Maybe you guys are just trying to break the damn thing.. But it works flawless for me. Maybe the ocassional wrong number was pressed due to fat fingering the display but if thats what makes people mad.. They need to stick to HAM radios!
  3. I am saying just that.. I have never had any damages, mileage rolled over to a new lease purchase from Ford when going from one Ford to another! They work with you, as long as you stay with them. It's when you turn in and walk away, they get you!
  4. Remember, when leasing a vehicle you have a budget on miles.. I understand it and at times, I hate it as well.. Those leasing mileage terms really only effect you if you turn the Ford in at the end of the lease and walk away and persue another vehicle other than Ford. If your lease ends and you know for a fact that you will lease or buy another Ford, they won't hit you with mileage overages. They work with their customers.. Just not if you don't buy from them again. My Wife and I are a Ford family, so we don't worry about mileage on leases.
  5. Try taking a video of it while it is doing it next time. That way, you have atleast something to show them so you know you aren't going crazy.. I haven't heard of this before..
  6. My 07 hasn't given me any problems at all.. I believe that all year models are going to have their quirks. Also, with the current incentives that Ford is offering right now on most all of their vehicles, you can lease a brand new edge and pay damn near cheaper if not the same amount of money, payment wise that you would pay for a used Edge! Just a thought.
  7. I have the Parada SPEC-X's on my 22's.. They are an amazing TIRE choice and very quiet. Make sure you rotate them every 5k.. Well at least 5k here in Florida.. Not too sure about other states according to weather/road conditions.. None the less, nice set up. Looks good!
  8. Dingo... Long time no talk buddy.. I understand the POLLEN, being that you're in GA and I, in FL.. But 5-15 times a week? OCD or just can't stand it to not look like it was brand new off the lot?
  9. All of the time, money, effort and aftermarket parts needed for this..... Why didn't you just get MFT in the vehicle to begin with? :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot:
  10. I am not a 100% sure if you can swap it out, but I wouldn't see why not.. Give it some time for a bezel and aftermarket bracketry to be made and you should be able to do it.
  11. I went from 18's to 22's on my 07' SEL and people bashed me for months on this forum for doing it and since I have done it.. I have not seen any noticeable difference in my MPG, Power and Ride.. The ride is smooth as glass, not bumpy at all and on top of that.. I still pull 23-25mpg on the highway when taking trips to see the in-laws.. City I get around 19-21, depending on the stop and go traffic here in Orlando Florida. I have an intake and a tune but that's about it. Using Premium gas! I went with the 22x9 TSW Snettertons, in Hyper Silver, wrapped with the Yokohama Parada SPEC-x Tire.. I wouldn't have changed a thing.. They are bitchin.
  12. If you contact your salesman, he can speak with the Sales Manager and see if the order is too far along in the process. I know there is a window of time were you can change some things but after a cutoff date, you won't be able to add/delete options. I did this a few times on my 13' Titanium Fusion, but I did it within the window of time. As for your radio.. If you don't like the screen and its too late.. You can always spent about a grand and get a really nice Pioneer or Kenwood 7" touchscreen system that would be just as good as MFT if not blow it out of the water. The reason why a lot of people don't go this route is becasue the MFT touchscreen is included in the payment of the car and it isn't additional monies out of their pocket and it's more practical/easy. Before touchscreens were standard in cars, the aftermarket route was the only way to go! Most Pioneer and Kenwood systems have like 12 millions points of interest included into their navigation units and its no monthly charge.. They have bluetooth, interenet connectivity when in range to a wifi hotspot and will do loads more than MFT.. Back up cameras, etc. etc. etc.
  13. If the wiring isn't present.. YOU will need a Sub box, a Sub, an amp, wiring... And probably some other hook ups that a professional installer can sell you and install for you!
  14. I went with the 22" TSW Snetterton's and they have been an amazing rim! Couldn't be happier with the look and hardware... I wrapped them with Yokohama Parada Spec-X's, if you shop around.. Discount Tire did my entire setup for right at 2,300 I believe, including the 3yr replacement warranty on each tire. Pic's are in my Gallery!
  15. Jackman.. I'd say that maybe one of the best options you have is going to Youtube and actually watching a 3 min video of someone plasti dipping their rims... Also, they normally will spray it on and then peel it off on the how to videos. This way, your wife can see just how easy it is to put it on and take it off if you don't like it. This is what I have to do with my wife... And if she still says no, I normally just do it anyways!
  16. Ahhh OK.. I have MFT but the only option I don't have on my Titanium is Navigation.. Couldn't see spending 795$ for just that one feature, when I NEVER use Navigation, even on my phone. I stay local and when I do travel for work, I take cabs or look at my directions before I leave and remember them.

Just saw this post.. LOL, sorry for the long await for a reply. This colour is actually factory! This vehicle has got a very good paint job on it. Still to this day, spray on wax will do the trick, but a twice a year polish and wax job and OMG, professional detailers are amazed at the shine.. I guess I am a lucky one, being that this vehicle is 6yrs old..

This vehicle came with 18's and was very skeptical to go to the 22 because of how badly people downplayed them. With the Parada Spec X tire I chose, they are smooth as glass. I truly couldn't even tell I had different rims/tires on the vehicle over the factory. They are quiet as well. Love them!
  19. I have a 2013 Fusion Titanium with a 6 month free subscription... Does your above comments come with that subscription? If so, is it only audible updates or is it something that they actually display on your screen such as maps, etc. etc. ?
  20. DIED: Months ago! He was updating daily and then POOOOOOOOF, he vanished!
  21. Good to know! It has always been something I have wondered on...!
  22. You can expect some good things out of it... MFT has come a long way from when it first started. I have the newest update in my 13 Fusion Titanium and I have not had any problems with it as of yet.. I see myself in your comment above a bit.. I am the same way, i woudl probably just drop it and let it go.. I hate confrontation! I am the same with the MFT, I am a technology guru and do it for a living.. I know that software glitches at times and if you want to play with technology, you have to be prepared for it to not work perfectly at all times. If my MFT was messing up, I would probably just deal with it, if it was tolerable.
  23. HAHA DAMN! Eibach makes a good spring as well.. Sad to see them stop making them! I personally haven't gone with a lowering kit because nobody makes an aftermarket SHOCK.. Just springs.. To me a full set up would be shocks and springs and would make the ride even better.. Instaed, you are compressing a stock shock and hoping it doesn't bottom out and blow out!
