  1. I went with the Kicker KS 6x8 Front and Rear paired up with a Kicker DX 400W 4 Channel Amp. If you're looking for subs also, I went with 2 X 12" SoloBaric L7's in a custom ported Kicker Box paired with a Kicker ZXS 1500W Monoblock Amp! For head unit I used the Pioneer Avic Z150BH. Couldn't be happier but beware, shit is so loud it will damn near break glass.. As for just the mids/highs, they sounded very nice before adding the amp to them. Only reason I added the amp was becuase of the Subs being installed. If i hadn't, I wouldn't of been able to hear them as well as I needed too. All in all, very impressed with them. 2. Great looking Rim!! And not a bad price.. I did the 22x9.5 TSW Snettertons on my Edge wrapped with Yokohoma Parada Spec-X's and I love them. Paid right at like 2,300$ from Discount Tire for everything out the door, including warranty on the Tires!
  3. Nothing really.. People for years have always wanted to have media center PC but in this current world we live in, its so easy to just stream something from your computer directly to a smart TV. I have a computer/study/guest beedroom/game room all in one. Basically a nautical themed room with a futon, hi def entertainment area.. I purchased a MacMini and hooked it up to the TV. In my living room, across the other side of the house, I have an Apple TV that my wife and I use occasionally for Netflix, Music streaming and what not.. We have all of that built into our LED Samsung Smart TV, but its just sometimes laggy and buggy. With having the MacMini, I can download and play movies and stream my monitor of MacMini, Directly to my Apple TV.. So in theory, having a media center PC is useless now adays as long as you have an Apple TV or another type of device that you can throw your current computer things from, to the attached device.
  4. Awesome review of that FX 9590, i lol'd.. AMD just tries too hard.. Stick with Intel! Pros: AMD fans will think it's the cats pajamas. It's got a 5.0Ghz turbo clock. Cons: 220watt TDP. Still built with the lacking Piledriver architecture. Given the high stock clock speed, it's performance SHOULD be better than it is, but Piledriver/Vishera architecture is still holding it down, it's just an inefficient way to build a processor. Other Thoughts: Ok, in the benchmark testing done, with all CPUs running at stock clocks, and turbo engaged if available, this CPU doesn't do that bad against the i5 and i7 INTELS in some benchmarks, it's about even with the i7's in 115x sockets in SOME benches, as we already know with AMD it's single threaded performance isn't even up to i3 performance. BUT, it is priced higher than all but the i7extreme procs, and it's still a 220w TDP. And the less expensive i7's and i5's in the 115x sockets STILL beat it in MOST benchmarks (and are way cheaper and lower temp also). It's neat to see a 5ghz stock proc. but since you can get an intel i5/i7 OR AMD FX-8350 to that same speed through OC, for half the price or better, it's like looking back at Netwar days again. And once you OC them, the true lack of performance from the 9590 shows through.
  5. The price of that FX 9590, I could build three Home Theater PC's that would run just as fast as whatever setup you're preparing to build.. Too often you see people blowing money on components that aren't needed. In the world of Computer Engineering and Network Engineering, i have this problem with 99% of my clients. In the end, sometimes they listen, other times they dont! FYI, if you're trying to do eyefinity or something of that nature, ATI has sub 200$ cards that will boast a picture eyefinity on 6 different 50" screens in Full 1080p, non watercooled.
  6. Full agree Hollywood.. And if this discussion raises enough for Steeda to do the right thing and start production again, or at least track down a few so that us very upset customers can purchase them.. I'll pay cash/money order/paypal for one right MEOW!
  7. I called yesterday as well to order a new sway bar for my 07 Edge and got the same response.. It was quite rude.. I then found Gary Yeomans ford on eBay selling 3 of them.. I ordered one, got an email about an hour later stating there stock was actually at 0, they had sold all of them over the weekend and they contacted Steeda and were told that they were no longer supporting the Edge.. How crappy is that! I was very disappointed.
  8. Looking for the 2007 Steeda Rear Swar Bar for the Edge SEL. Steeda has discontinued the REAR sway bar for the Edge due to lack of customer's wanting this item. As soon as I finally decided to buy it, they no longer have it. If anyone has one for sale, please PM me on here and i'll gladly take it off your hands.. I'll pay shipping as well.
  9. How so? LOL, the towing capacity on the F-150 eCoBoost has the same towing capacity as the F-150's biggest motor, the 6.2L. I would say they highly tout the towing capability by not only telling consumers this, but advertising the towing options and availability of the eCoBoost motor.

    3.7L Chipped?

I have heard of people on this forum speak very highly of the "Green USA Filter's".. Unfortunately, I am only able to locate the Part #7035 on their website, which is just a stock air intake box filter.. Does anyone know if there is a green filter that will fit the K&N intake for an 07 Edge? I am guessing, just the dimensions will be needed, I am at work and don't have them off the K&N Filter, but maybe someone here has already done what I am asking.
  11. And too little looks Riced out as fuh!
  12. And that was with 25$ 3yr warranty per tire for blowouts, uneven wear and potholes.. So 100$ tacked onto the final bill equaling 2300.. CarID is way off on price brotha! Cleaners rip off right there.
  13. Also, you can find Snettertons all over Amazon all day long for like 250/rim! They are shipped from TSW, sometimes with free shipping.. I was gonna go the Amazon route, but Discount Tire, gave me the same price as Amazon had em quoted.. So i did it right then and there. I paid 2300 out the door for my 22" TSW Snetterton's in HyperSilver wrapped with Yokohama Parada Spec X's.
  14. DiscountTire.com They are all over the USA and will beat and match any price on the market!
  15. 20 just won't fill that gap... I was not interested in 22's either until I had the shop but the 20 on.. Even with my vehicle lowered with the H&R springs, it had a stock feel to it.. He slapped the 22's on and i was like damn... IT wasn't about the size, it was all about the fit and finish.. I have a feeling you will be saying the same thing once its all said and done.
  16. 2002 Ford Ranger Edge, 4.0L 12" of Total Lift 38x12.50x20 Parnelli Jones - Dirt Grips Mods: Intake, Tune, Headers, Exhaust, Bullet-Proof Tranny, 4:88 Yukons, Detroit Locker, Spare Tire Mount, Spare Tire/Rim, Bull Bar, KC Dayliter System, 2 12" JL Audio W6 V-2, 2 1000W JL Audio Amps, Pioneer Avic Z130BT headunit. Tons of more mods to even begin speaking of.. About 25 grand total sunk into this truck.. Unfortunately, RIP -- I hope she is doing good. She was my first vehicle and I miss it dearly. 2006 Suzuki GSXR 600 Akropovic Exhaust Tune Other various small mods 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium 2.0L with 19" H-Spokes Stock other than Tint Wifes Ride, Mods to come - possibly! Then my 07 Edge which is currently being driven while in the market for a 13' or 14' eCoBoost F-150 to tow our future boat purchase.
  17. 2" doesn't seem like a lot but trust me.. I am a LIP fan and anything bigger than 2" lip on the EDGE and it would look dumb as hell..
  18. Prinzll, in my gallery of my profile I have pics of my Edge with the 22's on!
  19. Yes, I saw it and was very upset when I didn't see Ford's emblem in the supported vehicles section. Although, Jaguar was!! I really can't see manufacturers doing this, because they will lose out big time on Navigation sales and such like that.
  20. www.steedaedge.com will have everything that you can put on the Edge. From Springs, Tuners, CAI's, Brake kits, you name it. Even LED's, YAY!!
  21. Well having said that... We are members on a forum that consider LED lights as MOD's.. And let me tell you, I will probably get murdered for having even said that. You can literally turn night into day with the LED's that you can put on your vehicle.. One forum member event stated he got like 6mpg better and 23HP from just putting in LED puddle lights.. It's true, bro!
  22. Cold Air Intake will give you sound, but no gains.. That is a proven fact! The exhaust will give you a minimal 5hp gain, if that. The programmer would be SCT X3 would be your best bet, yielding you the most power, but even then.. You'd be lucky to see 10hp out of it. Steedaedge.com has all sorts of parts, stick to the Steeda CAI, as K&N has had problems over the years with oil getting into the intake manifold and MAF. H&R makes a lowering spring, steeda offers some sway bars that are really nice, thats about it. Good luck to ya! www.steedaedge.com http://www.sctflash.com/products.php?PID=1&VID=
  23. It's not as easy as just sticking int he Nav SD card and it working.. You don't have the GPS equipment that is installed in the vehicle that talks with the MFT head unit. The SD CARD just holds the software and maps..
