  1. Does anyone know if the 2011 tires will fit onto the new 2015 rims? I have winter tires with low mileage on them and would be great if they fit onto the new edge I ordered which also has 20inch rims. I heard they changed a bit so might be incompatible now which would suck as these tires are not cheap.
  2. I ordered last week. Do not have any info yet as to Vin number etc. Just a 6 to 8 weeks approx.from dealer. They do not even have the new models in the showroom yet either so I am not expecting to get anything even within that approx date. But am hopeful as I have a 2000km radtrip in May that would be great to do in new car!
  3. I ordered a AWD Titanium as well. impact Blue after trading in my 2011 Limited. Got all the bells and wisthles. But had to show the dealer the better price I got online to get a better price and rate. Was worth the effort though as it brought down price and halved the interest rate. Should mention I am in Canada. I don't usually order anything that is the first edition but I took a leap of faith with new Titanium. Was disappointed that Sync 3 is not going to be in the 2015 models. I am a geek so did not mind the sync 2 issues but I think the new hardware in sync 3 will make the system more responsive and quicker. Hope to hear feedback from the forum once this starts shipping.
  4. I have 3 phones and not having an issue and I have the most current MFT update for my system as of Oct 30 2012. My phones connect depending on if my primary phone is available or if not it connects to the next one if available. I have an android smartphone (4.04) as well as a blackberry and a simple old LG. No issues except the android is supposed to support text but does not. Would drive my sons nuts but for me not an issue as I send about 3 texts a year. Also the thing keeps letting my wife call. Ford says I have to live with that part.
  5. Updated to the new V3.2.2 version today. USB Installation Directive File ; 3.2.2 (12156) Update from: ; 10308,10337,11038,11063,11081,11134 ; 11339,11346,12023,12094,12131 Went smotthly and no issues though it took about 35 minutes to install. Some nice fetaure I noticed right off is the temperature is back on the main display with the clock. I was kind of sorry to see it go with the 3.02 MFT update that was mailed to me by Ford. I was not having issues to speak of so was trying to see what was fixed with this update. I did notice my texting seems to be supported for my Android Galaxy 2 Sx phone though I have not had a chance to test much (Anddoid ICS OS).Also Sirius Radio came back online without issue. Voice commands seem to be working as well. I'll play some more and report back on other stuff but so far I did not see anything broken. More curious as to what is added. Are there relaease notes around for this version? Has anyone else downloded the update yet? Any feedback?
  6. Ok thanks did not know that. I'm kind of surpised as this is not old hardware either. I tried to get the list from syncmyride of supported phones but always get an error when trying to get the list.
  7. Like I said in my earlier post I have the new update to sync installled an running smoothly. Now I played some more. I just got ICS (ice cream sandwich) update for my google phone which brings it to 4.0.4 which is pretty much the latest for Android phones. Mine is a Samsung Nexus S. Still with the new Sync update which is working great, and the latest update for Android smartphones, I still do not see the contact thumbnail pics. Also text to voice is not supported. Since i have the latest version of both products I was wondering if it works for anyone? Pics or text to speech messaging? Maybe i need to set something up that I don't know about? New to this so bear with me. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks for any constructive input...
  8. Hi Folks Thanks for all the feedback. I have been watching for the Perfromance update for months and it was great to see people start receiving it. I finally got mine today in the Montreal area. I installed it tonight and it went in without issue in about 40 minutes. I installed while running errands instead of using a tank of gas in the driveway as gas in QC is not to be wasted... Everything installed perfectly. I really see a difference in the responsiveness of the screens as well as the screens being less cluttered. I used to have to stick on a pair of reading glasses to make out all the screens but now can do the main ones without which is good for us older users. I also was able to pair back my Samsung Android Nexus S phone no problem. As well my wife's LG phone. Phonebooks from both went in no problem. Supposedly it now supports tablets so will give it a go and let you all know. I also have a Black Berry to try. Again thanks for the feedback as it is nice to know there are others out there going through the same as you and there is hope. The lack of communcation from Ford was a drag but in the end they came through and it gives soem creedance to the fact we opted to get this Microsoft technology before the rest of the pack and were not left hanging without support. BTW: I had the NAV add-on card and NAV looks much spiffer as well for what little I used it so far. On the downside I wish you could backup your NAV favorites, phone quick dial settings etc. to a USB and restore after the upgrade. I would think this pretty basic.
