I got exactly what was listed above ^^^^^, except I got 5000k instead of 4300k. Im loving my new lights, can see so much better now. I need to take a picture of them and put it on here, just never got around to doing it. You will be very happy with the TRS system, I haven't had any problems. Worth the $150.00!!

New update installed today. Everything seems to be working good. Only previous problem I was having before this update was my iphone not pairing with Sync all the time. Now it connects right away and pretty fast. Im also glad to report that I can receive text messages threw Sync when I counldn't before. Yippie!! It deleted all my wallpapers so I will have to install them again but that's no biggie.

Candurin, may I ask why you switched to Motimotos? I heard so many people complaining about DDM kits on here I didn't want to chance it. Dingo, I'm glad you mentioned they don't get hot, I was worried about them melting something.

He ended up shaving alittle off that one tab.

He pulled the stock bulb out and it says 9012 for the size. That size wasent an option to choose. Ugg I should of let my husband order this crap!! I know nothing about this stuff.

So I ordered the Morimoto 35W kit with bulb size 9006. My husbands having a hard time getting the bulbs to fit. Did I get the wrong lights or is there some trick to getting to fit?

I also ordered my A4 SD card yesterday and got it in the mail today. But I can't seem to get the update to download to my USB off the computer. May have something to do with my work computer so I will try later on my home computer. How long do these updates take to download in the vehicle usually? I haven't had any problems with my current software so hopefully this new software doesn't cause alot of problems for me.

Well I got an email this morning telling me that my 4300k bulbs are are backorder so my order won't ship till next week. It mentioned that I could change the bulp color and if its in stock my order would ship right away. Well I called and they are all out of the 4300k-6000k bulbs. So I went ahead and changed the bulb color to 5000k since I was worried the 4300k would have yellow in it or not be white enough for me. Let me just add that their customer service was so nice and knowledgeable, totally worth the extra money for their product.

I just finished ordering my new HIDs for The Retrofit Source. Thanks for the promo code, it worked and I got free shipping. Can't wait for them to come in!! I went ahead and ordered the 35W kit with 4300k, I hope there white and not yellow. Now Im worried. I originally was going to go with 5000k but did some research and it said that 4300k is what stock vehicles with HIDs come with. I guess we will see how it looks once there installed. Hopefully if I don't like the color I can just change the bulb out to a 5000k. Is that possible? Will post a picture once I have then installed. Thanks for the help :hyper:

The website still has me comfused. You say the bulb size is 9006, does that mean I need the 9006 Morimoto Elite HID system? It doesn't have you standard 35W/55W. It says 3five (35W) and 5five (50W). Is that the same thing? There are so many differant wire harnesses to choose from. Then on wire harness types there's a Heavy duty relay & a Standalone -Can-Bus. WHy do they have to make this so hard!!

Iv decided Im going to upgrade to HIDs for now. I have no idea what I need to buy, please help. I want to go with the TRS Morimotos. Iv browsed their website and Im totally lost!! What bulb size & ballast do I need? What kind of wire harness? It also has differant wire harness types. Kelvin? Im looking at either the 5000k (pure white) or 6000k (cool white). Whats the differance in whites? I just know I don't want blue. Which one is most commonly used? Will I need a capacitor? This will be for a 2013 Edge Sport if it helps. Thanks

What is the difference between 35W & 55W? Does the 55W last longer, look better, brighter, better quality? And Iv heard people talk about OEM retrofit on here, what is that?

So I really need to upgrade the lights on my Edge. All this upgrading lights is really new to me, my last vehicle had really nice lights. Not HIDs but they were 100% better than what my Edge has. So disappointed in them. Anyway this past week since Iv joined the forum Iv been looking at all my options. First I was thinking about upgrading to HIDs, then I saw what the halos look like and really like that look. Now today I see someone asking about just changing the bulbs out. That thought never crossed my mind. So now Im not sure what I should do. One things for sure is the dull vertical DRLs have to go. Just waiting on kc300c to put those awesome DRLs with the turn indicator on the market. Please help me make this decision easier. Its always dark when I leave in the morning for work and I would like to see where Im going, lol. :D Thanks
