Yes the stock STR Pirelli's is what it had and what I put on them. I should have mentioned seeing your follow up question about brakes that I replaced the rotors and pads at about 50,000 due to warpage/shaking. I replaced with ceramic aftermarket pads and rotors since I figured OEM would do the same thing again. So far they have done great since replacing..

I have one just like it, Deep Impact blue and love mine. Up to 66,000 miles just changed the OEM tires with the exact same tire I liked them so much. Only issue I have had was the driver door ajar issue many have had with this Edge that required the door latch to be replaced around 55,000 miles. Cost me $300 at my Ford Dealer. Otherwise never a hint of an issue so far.

Seems a bit high for a 2012 to me.

Got my Edge out of the body shop good as new. Even better actually as a scratched rear bumper is now a new bumper 49,000 miles on it's way to 200,000 hopefully.

Yeah I'm fine, fortunately I did not know I was about to be hit so I didn't tense up at impact, I think that helps a lot. never bothered me a bit physically. Now the Edge on the other hand.....

Well clearly jinxed myself as I got rear-ended in rush hour traffic. Almost $4,000 of damage (so far). Fortunately the other guy had insurance so not costing me but will be without my Edge for a little over 2 weeks. Just passed 48,000 miles. Hope there are no lingering issues. I took it to the Ford Dealer I bought it from and they have their own body shop to make sure it got the best care possible.

So tried to install the Sony HD radio version into MFT today and it worked....except for the volume ;( All the hookups line up perfectly and everything fits. Even got the HD working and tuning HD stations flawlessly. Climate controls functions all work but neither the steering wheel volume control or the radio dial volume control would change the level of volume. Anything the pertained to sound could not be adjusted. I even tried the regular faceplate instead of the Sony version but it still would not control the volume level. So technically it worked but you had no control over volume level. At least now I know.

I wasn't thinking, my speakers came out of a 2011 Escape. Any idea if they would be compatible? I think they are 6X8's.

Current incentives expire 3.30.15. Still see a lot of them out there on dealer lots. Any idea if Ford will add to incentives or just roll over the current ones?

I can tell from pictures of both that the plugs are the same so it will plug, its just a matter of will it work once plugged in. I went ahead and got the faceplate as well but I think you may be right in that either faceplate would work since it is connected by the same plug connecter. I will report my findings once I get it and change them out. Really enjoy HD radio (Live in St Louis so a lot of HD radio stations in town).

I have a 2013 Ford Edge SEL with the Synch, My Ford Touch, with NAV setup but the FM radio is not HD capable. Is there anyway to get this capability without taking everything out and putting in a new unit? I can't seem to do a ebay auction copy and paste but was looking at auction number 311317586551 and this appears to be the Sony version that I know has HD radio built in. How compatible is this to my current setup as far as what I would need to replace if I tried to change out to this? Would I lose NAV? Thanks for any thoughts!

I have 4/32 on the front and 3/32 on the back so will be getting new tires before the winter season hits. Debating whether to put another set of Pirelli Scorpion STR's they came with (245/50/20) or I have been looking at Yokohama Avid Envigor. Tire place near me has a forever tire program where you buy a set of tires and never have to again as long as you own the car. The way I go through miles I am considering it but you have to go with their highest priced tire (The Yokohama). I would say I am a bit dissapointed with the fuel economy. If you drive 60 on the interstate you CAN average 30 MPG but that's just not me Overall its gets about 24 MPG per tank.

I have had my 2013 Edge SEL for 24 months now and have put 46,000 miles on it as my daily commute is roughly 65 miles round trip but they are nice highway miles. Just wondering about some on here that have high miles on their Edge's and how they have aged? I have the Eco-Boost engine in my SEL. I really like it.

I had a 2011 Ford Escape that had pinstriping that included a Ford Logo in the middle of it. Anybody know where you can find those for an Edge? Thanks!

I hope this hasn't been covered already but not sure exactly what my wheels are. I have the 2013 Edge SEL appearance package which includes the 20 inch machined alluminum wheels but for the most part they are black rather than alluminum looking so I am wondering if I can just clean them as I would the regualr body paint and just wax them or if there is a better think to do? Thanks for any advice!

My wife and I bought a 2013 Ford Edge SEL over the weekend. We got the Deep Inpact Blue SEL with the appearance package, vista roof and NAV. Sticker price $39,630. Haggling went not so well, we ended up $200 apart and I would not budge, they gave me my keys to my trade (2011 Ford Escape Limited 45,000 Miles) and said thanks for stopping in. I wasn't a half mile down the road when my phone range and it was the dealership tellign me to come back I guess they didn't think i would walk over $200 but I am so upside down already on my trade I needed to fight for every bit I could to keep my blance down that I was rolling into my new loan, my credit union got me 2.54% for 72 months so that helps as well. As for the Edge love the Deep Impact Blue black leather interior combo. Radio is weak (Did not get the Sony version on the SEL model) will need better speakers. Got the ecoboost engine as well, anxious to see how it performs, have heard good things about it. Anyway be glad to hear from others who have something similar.

I just got a 2013 SEl Edge and am considering installing aftermarket DVD headrests myself via the cig lighter outlet so really my only concern is how to go about removing the back of the seats to get the cable ran down through the posts. Is there a video out there somewhere ford edge specific so i can see how to take the back of the seat off to get the cable ran through the seat? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!
