  1. Is there any way to permanently disable this feature? I absolutely hate it! It goes off all the time for no reason. I hads a hard time distinguishing between a moving car and a parked car that only appears to be moving because I'm turning while backing up. You can disable it in Vehicle Setting but it enables itself when you turn the car on and off. Ridiculous.
  2. Not a big fan of Angle eyes, but the workmanship looks stellar!
  3. The bulb is seated correctly. I had the headlights out of the car and trimmed the tabs so that when seated and locked, the wire on the bulb is facing down as is the standard on HID installs. But regardless, when I had the wire facing the way it does if you don't trim modify everything the beam pattern is the same. I really thing its a problem with the projector. I swaped around the bulbs and ballast today and the problem remains on the right side. bummer.
  4. I couldn't really get a great pictures of the brights. I even turned the exposure all the way down. But here it is. I guess I don't really understand what you mean buy "Ones higher in the projector" They're both seated and oriented the same way. I'm not understanding how this could be. Thanks for the help!
  5. Can you elaborate on this? I installed the bulbs while the headlights were off the Edge and I was able to orientate the bulb with the wire down. They both looked seated correctly. As mentioned in the OP I've had 2 sets of bulbs and ballists in and they both do the same thing. Thats why I'm thinking its a problem with the projector? I turn the high beams on tonight against a wall and the beam pattern looked as you would expect, the right projector still had that strange pattern.
  6. HID retrofit on my Edge Sport. The 2 beam patterns look significantly different. I've modified the bulb so they can be inserted with the wire down (for the most part). I've used 2 different sets of bulbs. the actual light output from the 2 headlights look to be the same but the right looks more focused.
  7. I have factory HID's and 3000k HID fogs in my MazdaSpeed 3. They don't put out a huge amount of light due to the housing design but they look great!
  8. Finally found a decent service advisor, 10 min and 25 dollars later my DRL's are now my signal lights.
  9. OMG The dealerships around here are awful! After a day of back and forward BS I was able to convince one of them but I had to make an appointment for a 5 min job! One of the service advisors told me "I can do it because of DOT rules" I asked him if he know what DOT meant and what country he was in.
  10. If its a 2011 - 2013 then the high and low beam are the same builb, its a mechanical flap that controles the high beams.
  11. Hey, I bought my Edge used a little over a month ago and I had a question about the sunroof. I noticed that the sunshade will one touch open but I have to hold the button for the sunroof to open all the way. This sounds pretty ridiculous to me especially considering it takes about 10 seconds for it to open. Is this normal or is there something wrong 2013 Edge Sport.
  12. What does the Edge use for DRL's? is it the headlights, running lights or LED light bars? The reason I ask is because I'm having some bad flickering when the DRL's are supposed to be on. The funny part is I'm running a relay kid and powering the HID's directly off the battery. The stock harness is just the switch source, there should be no reason for them to flicker even if the stock setup is reduced power headlight for DRL's.
