Hey sony, I've gotten two cars tinted. Its actually 5 days and not to wash your car for 5 days as well. Eeek can you picture someone not rollling their windows down for 30 days...... especially in the summer when you want it half down and loud music so you can get people attention.

hey man, Sorry to hear to hear about your lost... I'm from brooklyn too and with the project im going to want going ...... I don't think its going to be worth it now. but. what part of brooklyn you in? I live in the canarsie section of Brooklyn. So the odds are little bit high. But I have alloy wheels instead of the chrome ones. Is the value of the wheels suppose to be that high ? Well let me know how the investigation goes. I have a 3yr/36,000mi warranty on my Ford edge 07. Next year I will have to make a decision to either extend the warranty or keep it. There's been a lot of people in the forum that probably had their ford edge longer than mine. But my question to you is would you is based on your experience with the Edge. Would you extend the warranty? Of course the warranty is going to be extended through FORD. I'll make it a poll

I wish there was a way to check out all the colors installed. but what do you guyz think would go good with black n black ford edge ? I was thinking the carbon fiber. any other suggestions?

Hey solas, I currently don't have sync. I guess if it was possible that would probably be a software that would be def.ly installed on the pc. The reason for the project is that always wanted to do it. After my ford Taurus died on me, It cancel all the plans I had to start the project in August. But main reason for the project is for entertainment based. I have no agenda on installing a nav system or killer radio system with bunch of amps. But solas if you know anything about mircosoft sync being software based and working on windows xp or vista, or any operating system. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hey Guyz, In august I will be moving forward with my carPC design project for the ford edge. My only concern is the warranty. Now I seen some folks install after market navigation system, radio's ,amps and even remote start. But no questions are raised when it comes to warranty. Now my question is... Will I void my warranty if I move forward with my project. Listed below is just a simple diagram on what I plan to do as far as wiring. But the radio 6 disc changer will be removed and replaced with a 7" touchscreen or 8"in which ever fits. The computer was orginally plan to go in the glovebox (Only if there's no warranty problems) being that its so big. If I comes across that it can't be done then the pc will be installed under the seat. But any information to this project would be helpful. Thank you

Hey guyz, After removing the panel there were a lot of set of numbers behind on the panel and on the panel. But I could not find a unique 5- digit key for keypad. None of the numbers were labled. So no identification as to which is which. I'm trying to do this process without going to dealer and being charge. Anyone else have any information as to where the 5 digit key might be or even locate it? Thank you

I didn't want to add to this post because I hate that whine. But I notice when I start to accelerate really fast not flooring it. I would hear the whining noise that you guyz are referring to. I don't hear it on idle though. But its def.ly something there. But like the other guy said..maybe its a unmentioned feature..lol.

I know this is a common complaint with larger model cars and SUVs, but Ive noticed a larger than normal blind spot in the drivers side of the Edge. Especially when making left turns as it skews the drivers ability to see whats around the bend. Also when im looking for parking. But minor price to pay for a beautiful car. Ford "Built Tough"

I strongly agree with sony. How can we get our grills to look like that? any ideas? Now I'm not sure, but from the picture is the grille and the front lights black? It looks like it from here

Yeah I notice that as well. I had to go to a local tint shop and have it done for 15$. In nyc I believe the legal requirements are 6" from the top

Hey guyz, Recently just brought a 2007 ford edge pre owned, very nice car. While browsing the web at work came across this forum, so this is officially my first post. But I can't find a answer to this one question anywhere on the web. How do you reprogram or even find out the factory code for the keyless keypad on the driver side door? Not sure if anyone will be able to answer this question, but thanks in advance
