There have been several posting that 9/07/15 is when 51d starts shipping. I had talked to a dealer which confirmed that also. So if you wait till September, why not wait till November/December and get a 2016 and get Sync 3... Myself along with several other have come to a similar conclusion.. Just some clarification to your post, Android Auto does not replace QNX, it is an app for QNX. Some of the earlier internet news articles like, http://www.androidcentral.com/ford-cto-details-plans-close-integration-between-android-auto-and-sync, But in my search today it looks like the most current articles http://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/ford-announces-all-new-sync-3-system-pictures-specs/ reflect that it not released for Escape and Fiesta, but it would be later this year. But my guess is based on the first article I would think it would be released like later this year when, let say maybe the new Edge comes out? Then comes WAZE integrated with AA..... That would be one sweet pair.

Sean, From what I have read in the forum, it sounded like they would start taking orders in August or September then delivery in October or November. But this is based on what I remember from the posting, so I could be way off base, but the posting I read might have been guesses by the posters Long and the short, I, like you am waiting for the 2016, because of sync 3 and Android Auto, along with adaptive cruise control (not available till Sept).... First not an expert, and I can not speak to upgrades to sync 2. But reading some articles of sync2 verses sync3, because of different hardware it sound like it would be almost impossible to upgrade the sync2 hardware to run the sync3 OS. Here is a article I found that explains the differences. http://www.cnet.com/news/ford-sync-3-announced/ With these sync differences and the issue that adaptive cruise will not be available until Sept, I like you am looking to buy a Edge, but I will wait for the 2016 version which from what I have read on this forum the 2016 will have sync3.

According to http://www.lincoln.com/2016-mkx/ 2.7L EB is the config But I think I may just wait for 2016 Edge for the Sync3 from what I am reading about it as compared to Sync2.

I emailed the sales person I had talked to at the dealership and he confirmed that the Drivers Assistance package delayed till September. Mike

Thanks for the information on the Drivers package, I will most likely not be ordering till the end of the month. As for fog lamps, I am not specifically looking at this package, I am saying, I do not see any option or package for fog lamps. Most other manufacturers have that option, and it looks like it was designed for that option. Maybe it is planned for the European models? Mike

Greetings everyone, I am looking at 2015 Edge Titanium AWD and I got a couple of questions. First, I have read several posting that the Drivers Assistance package would not be available till later? Because I have driven a couple the Titaniums, and neighter of them had Driver Assist. I am wondering because this was one the items the were equal between the Murano and the Edge. Does anyone have this option? Secondly, where are the fog lamps? Is see no option for these, but when I google it I found this image. Third, who in the heck came up with the color sample Congac, that is not congac, the real color is "Basketball" Best Regards, Mike
