  1. What constitutes as a comparable loaner? Edge Sport? Mustang 5.0? I'm guessing I won't be so lucky. Especially since that dealer goes through Enterprise for their loaners. I did call the Ford Vehicle Reacquisition department and left a message. I'll let you know how this turns out. Thanks,
  2. 5/5/15 - Picked up new Edge SEL from dealership 6/15/15 - Dropped off wet Edge to Griffin Ford in Waukesha Wisconsin for leak repairs 8/24/15 - Picked up "repaired" Edge 9/10/15 - Driver side carpet in my "repaired" Edge is soaked 9/11/15 - I am told that to rectify the situation I need to drop off my Edge to the same dealership that "repaired" it and get another sh!tty rental car for god knows how long. WTF??? I have maintained a calm demeanor through the first 70 day ordeal, but this is seriously ridiculous! Ford - You need to get me a new vehicle that won't develop mold/mildew that will get my family sick! I feel like my hands are tied since this is a company fleet vehicle, and that Ford is taking advantage of that fact. I am so sick and tired of this issue. Ford, correct it immediately. Ben

  4. Update: Still haven't received my Edge back from the dealer. 36 days and counting. The service department hasn't called me in 2 weeks, when they used to call at least weekly. I guess they're telling my fleet manager that the extra parts (dash insulator panels?) are on order, but no ETA as of today. At 41 days I will have had the vehicle for the same amount of time that it's been in for repairs. This is all just laughable now. Lucky this is a fleet vehicle. Bottom line - I will never spend my own money on a Ford product. I'm just lucky I learned my lesson on my company's dime. I feel bad for those that traded in dry vehicles for their new, wet Edges. I've had boats that took on less water. Thanks, Ben
  5. I just received a call from the dealership. There is more water in areas other than the driver side carpeting. Something about water soaked insulators behind the dash. They need to order new carpeting and new insulators, as well as various other parts for behind the dash. Bottom line, I don't think I'll have my car back until late July, if not August. Son of a.... Thanks, Ben
  6. I'm sure the carpet is on back order as well. Hopefully I can just get my Edge back this week and if the carpeting needs replacing, we can deal with that down the road. Thanks, Ben
  7. I received a call from the dealership last Thursday that they finally received the sealant. They were to be applying it on Friday, so I should hear from them today on the status. Should I be demanding that they replace the entire interior carpeting? If they refuse, should I pull it up myself and inspect it? Is this something I should have them do with me present, upon picking it up? Thanks, Ben
  8. On second thought, I may still ask for my vehicle back until they receive the sealant. My vehicle is a company car through our fleet program, so the lemon route may not do anything for me. At this point I'd rather take my chances with the Edge getting wet rather than put up with the POS Rogue they have me driving. Thanks, Ben
  9. This is really pissing me off. The fact that I'm stuck driving an inferior Nissan Rogue almost 2 weeks and counting. Other dealerships in the area are putting people on waiting lists for the repairs until the necessary parts are received. I feel like contacting the dealership that has my car and demanding it back until they receive the necessary parts for the fix. Any thoughts on that? Thanks, Ben
  10. I dropped mine off at the dealer on June 15, and as of today they still haven't received the sealant from the vendor. This is very frustrating. Thanks, Ben
  11. I've had the vehicle for 5 weeks. Last week wasn't the first rain it's seen, but it was the most. Plus I had it parked outside for 4 days, while it usually is in the garage. It may have been damp before without me knowing. This weekend it was absolutely soaked. Thanks, Ben
  12. I'm at the Ford dealership in Waukesha (Griffin) now. I experienced water this weekend, and after finding this thread, contacted the dealership and cited the notice 15B21. I'm waiting on my loaner vehicle now. I'll post back when my repairs are complete. Thanks, Ben
  13. And finally, post number 5. Wish me luck in getting my wet floors resolved. Thanks, Ben
