I hate to revive such an old post but i realized i never posted how the continentals did. 44k miles rotated every 5k miles. Just bought another set back in the fall. Hope this helps someone.
I installed Global Qdp 20 on the wifeys to match the rear and its spot on! The rear will meter 22-24% so a tad bit darker on the fronts, that makes up for all the light coming thru the windshield. Hope this helps
Cellbine,
When it comes to window tinting, always take it to a pro. I've been at it almost 32yrs and i'm still learning. Its not as easy as it looks, a professional just makes it seem like it. 2 fronts can range anywhere from $50-$120 depending on what type of film and what part of the country. 35% on the fronts which is a "net" law meaning film+factory < or = 35% here in Tennessee. Hope that answered your question. Cheers
CleBoy, yes. Had them put on yesterday and I am very pleased. Very little if any road noise compared to the Pirellis. Great looking tire and a very comfortable ride. One thing I really like that I haven't seen brought up is the fact that they are not a directional tire so that means when it comes time to rotate them, I can swap sides which will help eliminate heel-toe wear. I would like to think I can get close to 50k miles out of them. For the price, I sure hope so. We will see.
onyxbfly, $28,200. It has all options that were available. Some minor pdr work and is going to need a set of tires. All in all, a very clean sexy ride. Now, anyone have a suggestion on which tire to go with? Looking at the Pirelli and continental.
About to purchase a 2013 Edge Sport @ a dealer auction. My question is "how does the ride compare to a limited or SEL?" I've driven plenty of the non-sport models. Im gettin old and still like a good ride. Those 22" rims are scaring me LOL. Thanks for any input. GO VOLS!!!!
