UPDATE: Dealer claims resonator is bad, will need to replace big chunk of exhaust system; work requires welding and will prob take a few days. They've ordered parts and should arrive in 3 days. Mechanic says this does not affect car handling or power, its just a noise issue.

Ok Wingnut, i finally took it into the dealer. They were swamped with cars so they are holding on to it... i'll keep you updated.

Oh, hey, ok. That sounds exactly like my issue and no, it has not always rattled like this. I've owned the car for 3 months now, and it only started doing this a few weeks ago. Seems to me like there is a loose piece somewhere in the exhaust system. I've been thinking of taking to dealer, but im afraid they will say that I probably "hit" something and so warranty wont cover. But i'll probably take it anyways, i hate the sound. This v6 ecoboost sounds beautiful on idle, nice deep tone, and the rattle makes it sound like a cheap old car.

Hi friends Got a rattle coming from my 2015 Edge Sport. Its most audible primarily while idling, and it seems to be coming from the passenger side rear area. Here's a video of the sound: Any ideas?
