  1. I would think you could get them as an add on from the dealer, and should be able to attach them yourself. I know that they are standard on SEL's.
  2. Congrats on the new Edge! I've always thought the darker colors look better on the Edge, because it makes the chrome pop.

    Hi All

Congrats on your order, I know you will enjoy it. I like ours more and more every day.
  4. Good luck with your project, I think what your going to do will look great. The wheels are very good looking. Look forward to your post during your project.
  5. Charcoal interior is what they show, looks pretty nice with the wood added.
  6. We have the Redfire also and it looks hot. I'm starting to like the looks of the Creme Brulee w/ Charcoal. Saleens7, would love to see pic's of your with the 22's and body kit.
  7. Great looking ride, I really like the black, but just to hot for Texas
  8. nlr, Check with David Rush @ McRee Ford he may be able to help you, he did a great job for us. We were there Saturday getting our plates for our Edge and noticed they had about 12 Edges of all types and they are located in the Houston area. Don't know what side of Houston your on, but I know David handles Credit Union/ fleet sales for McRee. I ordered mine from McRee and got it 8 weeks. Good Luck, Don
  9. :happy feet: Congrats on the new MKX, I really like that color! The spoiler is not body color is that something the Lincoln is doing? I like the wheels and tail lights better on the MKX, but really like the front of the Edge more.
  10. Thanks to all the workers involved in building and designing such a great vehicle! We are really enjoying our new Edge. I know sometimes its good the hear that you've done good work, so thanks to one and all you did a great job! :D
  11. I did get a Ford part number for the black rubber rear bumper cover, it's (7T4Z*17B807*AA) for $55. I tried to get them to print screen but they were not able to do so, otherwise I would have uploaded the image.
  12. The premium fuel is was also a deal breaker for me. We test drove the CX-7 (and yes I know that it's only 2 row seating, the CX-9 has 3 row) it was nice and peppy with tight steering, but between the prem. fuel, noisy engine and a dislike for the interior we ruled it out and went with the better Edge. :yup:
  13. I came from a 11 year old Explorer, that provided good service, but I do think the Explorer as is has seen it's end. I actually think the Edge should have been named as the new "Explorer" (yea I know blasphemy :shades: )offering a 2 row or 3rd row option like the CX-7 & CX-9 Mazdas. I know one of the braking points is towing capabilities but, I don't think that an Explorer or Edge needs to be able to tow more than around 4500lbs, and if you need that then go up to an Expedition for minimal cost. I think the market has been moving to more of a car based better gas mileage, better ride type of vehicle that offers the best parts of an SUV style of vehicle. So what are the best parts? For me it's the ride height, ability to carry more people or items and does not look like a mini-van (looks cool like the Edge). Just my opinions and I still love my Edge.
  14. Congrats on the new Edge! :happy feet: I know you'll enjoy your new ride and I'm starting to see a few more on the road now.
  15. I think your right about liking it better and better. Finally got a couple pictures, what a nice car! :yup: Link: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?aut...=si&img=204
  16. The sales so far shows this car to be a good first step, I hope that Ford does not rest on this car, but continues to keep improving the Edge. My family will probably always be looking for this type of car. I really enjoy this car and hope to get a even better one in seven years. :yup:
  17. :happy feet: Redfire SEL w/ premium package (stone leather), BAMR, chromes, audiophile and cargo management. What a fine ride, beautiful and quiet with plenty power and worth the wait for our order. Will post some pictures later once the weather is a little nicer we ended up driving around for an hour or so and got a little dark by time we got home. Waiting to get it by myself to open the BAMR and crank up some cruising rock & roll. Thanks to David Rush @ McRee Ford in southeast Houston area, he helped to make it a great easy going experience. Got it in time to use my $500 Auto show coupon and get the 2.9% financing. :yup:
  18. Congrats on the new ride! :hyper: I think you choose the best colors (thats what we ordered), we ordered the SEL with BAMR, premium pkg.(stone leather), audiophile, 18" chromes, cargo managment. We did not order the nav either and did'nt want to spend the few hundred more just for the SEL+'s auto folding back seat. Our cars been in Houston the past week at the port, but could not get it pushed up in line to get delivered to the dealer for pick-up. Suppose to be on next truck sometime tommorrow. It seems like we are not the only ones liking the Redfire color best, there are alot of other people on the boards who got the Redfire also. I'm hoping to post her soon that we finally got ours. Congrats once again.
  19. They had them in stock in Houston according to the parts manager, and the one I saw on screen was in their computer catalog, but I have not seen it on Ford's web site. This was a black rubber pad with a raised "Edge" in the middle for $55. I'll be there somtime this week (hopefully) maybe I can get the parts guy to print the page and I'll post it. We are finally suppose to pick up our Edge this week.
  20. I checked on the rear bumper scuff protection at my Ford dealer and saw a sketch of one but no picture. It was made of black rubber with a raised "EDGE" in the middle and ran from side to side on the top. They had some in Houston and would have it Monday at a cost of $55. Not sure how it would look, I think I'll wait till its scuffed up first before I buy one and put it on. :yup:
