Maybe that's why they eliminated the full tail lights on 2019 ,now has a black plate across rear hatch.

Maybe...but you know what?... I had a '16 Titanium with the lighted full width taillights and when I sold it to buy my '19 Titanium, at first I was disappointed not to have them anymore but now, I wouldn't want to go back to the full width 'cause I now prefer the new taillights from '19 and up. Also my Edge is black so the "black plate" blends in very well and goes practically unnoticed and look like it's part of the body.:2thumbs:

  2. I wouldn't worry about the roof panel that's been replaced, especially if it was replaced at a Ford dealership... It's no worse than a windshield which could have been replaced in the past. Also, I wouldn't worry about "body flex" as I've never heard of about that... at least not on a Edge.

P.S: I find that 61k miles for a 4 year old vehicle is not exagerated...

Oh. I have confidence in the tune for that. The power is there, but with the 90+ degree temps we have in NY... I don't push it. This morning it was a 67 degrees drive, and I opened it up. So nice and quick!

The tune is an improvement but to me it's a small one....and I'm definitely not sure it would be enough so I wouldn't get humiliated by some kid driving a souped up Honda...:headscratch:  Like you said, it's a "stage 1" tune, nothing very "hot"...

  4. I could come from the drain holes of the sunroof which could be clogged... if not, I would suspect the a/c drain which could also be clogged... unless you did not notice and the passenger's door's window was not properly closed during the downpour...

    Good luck,

    Claude.  ;)

P.S: ---> Very important: If there is a water puddle on the carpet, it is very likely that there will be some accumulation under the carpet also.  To prevent rust and also mold and bad odours from forming, you should lift up the carpet to siphon and dry out the water from under it and don't reinstall it before everything has completely dried up!

This might be aesthetic purposes. Does this affect your performance or this just bothers you?

No neither! ...it doesn't have anything to do with the vehicle's performance... and also it doesn't bother me. It's just that having had a '16 Titanium, I remember the fuel door was a little smaller on it than on my newer '19 model and a few days ago my '19 was parked next to my previous '16 (which I sold to a member of my family) and indeed the door is larger on my new one. I was just curious why?...:headscratch:

My guess is to accommodate for the space required to have a filler for adblue (diesel exhaust fluid) tank in case it would be required for some export markets.

Looking at owners manuals for UK & Australian models, they don't seem to use adblue, so cannot be sure. Maybe for some other markets or maybe after the refresh they didn't need it anymore but the larger fuel door already went into production.

Yeah but... I've never heard of a diesel powered Edge... :headscratch:

Thanks for the replies. Ill guess ill have to play around with it and see how i can get it off. Worst case scenario im bringing the whole bumper to a shop and have them paint it.

I've looked at it and see nothing wrong... Why does it need to be repainted?

    Claude.

P.S: What's the little square cover at the top right corner for?... Ours here in America don't have that...  :headscratch:

  8. The bumper on my '19 Titanium Elite is very similar (except for the square vs. round exhaust tips) and the silver piece is indeed a separate part but I don't know how it's held on and if you have to remove the whole bumper to have access to it... :headscratch:

    Good luck,

    Claude. ;)

P.S: I notice that the ST has the same exhaust tips as yours but doesn't have the separate silver center panel and the small removable piece at the top right corner (I wonder what is that for?? ...)

  9. Just remember that wheels for a 2006-2014 have a different bolt pattern that those for Edges from 2015-2020... Make sure to specify which year is your Edge before ordering wheels!
