  1. And for the love of GOD man,.. go to Kragens and buy a decent jack!!! LOL
  2. A) The grill looks great,.. but it's gonna chip,.. like crazy! Trust me. Go have it wrapped by a place that does vinyl graphics on vehicles (shouldn't cost much and they don't need to take the grill off to do it). The tails look good, prepare to be pulled over and blah blah blah you know the rest. and C) The wheels look awesome. I like them without the chrome inserts personally. Keep up the awesome mods!! Cannon
  3. i Was about to say,.. Holy shit! $150 for both headlights,... heck i don't even need headlights, and was thinking of buying them. lol
  4. And another thing,.. adding the 1/4" spacers actually gave the vehicle a better looking stance, and got rid of the factory offset look. I tell almost everyone, if they want a cheap easy fix, to give their vehicle a more aggressive look while improving handling,.... just add a 1/4 wheel spacer all the way around. Cannon
  5. I have a rockford fosgate stage 3, 10" sub, mounted in a ported box with a lightening Audio amp bolted to the top. Works excellent and sounds great! looking to get $350 for it, but only to someone in CA. Would have to meet half way. Shipping would cost too much. -Cannon
  6. I added amber LED's to the front of my 2008 Edge, and then wired them in so that they blink when my turn signals are on too.... kinda trick looking
  7. Almost looks like ya lowered it too. Looks great Buzz!!!! Cannon
  8. Ummm,...?!?!?! Completely unrelated to this topic. Cannon
  9. Man i dig that front shot of your Edge, Edgieguy. Those new front ends with the LED's are schweeeet! Cannon
  10. Well that one guy said the edge's have some sorta "pulse" system, and that no HID kit should be on them,...??? So, beats me. And Retro Solutions hasn't gotten back to ya huh? Guess that would be the customer service thingy i was mentioning earlier, LOL Cannon
  11. Brand new, in the box, .. front grill for a 2008 Edge. $100 and that includes shipping. As long as you don't live in Japan. LOL Cannon
  12. Wow,. first off, i saw a new, 2011 black Edge Sport the other day,... TOTAL HEAD TURNER! AS for mods,... heck you shoulda just PM'd me. LOL I think i have the most modded Edge here! If you like Carbon Fiber, it blends really nice with black vehicles. Check out my posts where i wrapped my dash. I plan to wrap exterior panels as well. You could change out your exhaust tips with larger ones, then paint them flat black (like mine). You could remove the emblems off the back and then have the words remade in flat black vinyl (ahem,... like mine). You could add the 3D Carbon fender vents, super easy to install, .... after you get enough balls to cut a whole in the fender of your new ride, LOL. But afterwards, they look like the vehicle came with them, very clean, factory look. (again,.. check out my pics). You could add some LED's to the front,... (refer to my pics again, lol) You could black out the "Ford" emblems,.... (you know what i would say here). Stereo wise, you could upgrade the subwoofer,.. give it alittle more bump-in-the-trunk, for the long road trips. (I can advise in this area as well). You can also swap out your door speakers for better speakers as well Thats about all i can think of for now, that doesn't deal with performance. OH, definitely get a weather-tech rear cargo mat. Worth every penny! -Cannon
  13. Ummm, don't really feel like Retro Solutions "bullyed" me,.. but thanks anyways. lol
  14. Go to a place that does vehicle advertisement vinyl wrap jobs, and have them wrap your front grill in what ever color you want. Cannon Thats what i did.
  15. Well,.. the problem was handled. As to how it was handled, we obviously have a different of opinions. You obviously don't see my point of view either. This matter is done with as far as i'm concerned. Fellow members can make up their own minds from here, as to whether to use your products or not. Cannon
  16. How will people see when you brake then?? -Cannon
  17. Yes. Yes you did. After i i went ahead and complained, and then PAID for the part. All of this mess should not be where it is currently at. Especially over a $8.00 part, that you NOR I have proof was damaged by "the environment". I think the part wasn't properly sealed when it came in the package to begin with personally. Aside from that defective part, and the light going out and not working occasionally, i really like the HID's. Ridiculously bright, which is what i wanted. I just do not feel that my problem was handled in a very supportive way. Customer service is becoming more and more rare these days, and this whole mess is just another example of that. Maybe it's the economy, maybe it's just you guys?! If i had only bought one light bulb from you guys and then wanted you to replace my entire headlight system, that would be different. But i bought THREE HID kits from you guys, all in 55watt. And then when a stupid little $8.00 part fails, and you give me static over it.... well i find that to be unacceptable. And what am i to do? Well,... just what i did,.. warn and tell everyone i know. -Cannon
  18. WHAT!?!?!! I installed the lights EXACTLY the way YOUR directions said too. Period, end of story on that. The part was defective,.. no biggy, shit happens. But have better Public relations and support, and warranty the STUPID $8.00 PART!!!!!!!!!! -Cannon
  19. I have a brand new grill, in the box, and i believe it's chrome,... if anyone wants to buy it,.. then just have it wrapped in vinyl, and PRESTO! Ya have the same thing. Thats what i did, but i went flat black, as you can see from my pictures in my gallery. -Cannon
  20. Great, now i'll never know how to get one of his harnesses Sounds like it might be the fix i need for these dang HID's
  21. I don't suppose you have, or sell this harness your talking about, do ya? I'd love to add it to my current HID's. Would it fix my problem? Otherwise, i suppose i can just turn my headlights off and on to fix the problem,... just is annoying when i'm driving down the highway at night. Glad you share my view on Retro's products, and service. Cannon
  22. Your right Akirby,.. i edited the last sentence out my post as well. It didn't need to be there. I feel the rest of my post needs to be viewed by other members tho. Thanks Cannon
  23. So, i drop over $300 and buy Retro Solutions, HID's for my highs, lows, and fogs,... Because "supposedly" retro solutions HID's are the best, and because they are on this site quite often. I've had the HID's on my vehicle for about 2-3 months now, and from the beginning, one headlight (high and low's) would sometimes not work. I would have to turn the lights off, then back on, sometimes several times to get it working. I called retro solutions and they said try replacing the fuse that comes with the kits, and admitted that it was crap and cheap. Still didn't fix the problem. So, the other day i notice a wire that was detached from a little capacitor that runs in-line with my ground. So, i'm thinking this might have been the problem from the beginning. I e-mail Retro Solutions about the problem, and attach pictures. They tell me, "Here's the link to the part you need to buy to fix it." The part I NEED TO BUY!!!?!?! I ask about a warranty. They say, "The wiring carries a different warranty term, and excludes environmental factors though. Very sorry about that." So, all of this was a aftermarket mod, hence the reason it is posted here. I also wanted to bring this to everyones attention and advise if you are in the market for HID's, that you purchase them NOT from Retro Solutions, since they can't even warranty a FREAKIN' $8.00 PART!!!! I'm off my soap box now. Cannon
  24. Look like stock wheels to me. Nothing to get excited, but hey,... if you like, thats alllll that matters -Cannon
