  1. heheh, Cal said the refrigerant has "Mojo" hehehe*snort*hehehe
  2. Anyone need brand spankin new headlights? Still got em'!!
  3. Whoa, sorry for the SUPER late response here, .. never saw your post. I sold that grill shortly after i listed it. Sorry MNUNES77 Cannon
  4. And Cal is right too,.. i have yet to see a race car without slotted and/or drilled rotors. And when it comes to racing,... they run the best of the best, because it's proven. So, your both right!!!! Cannon
  5. For the most part, slotted rotors on street cars are just for looks, since the rotors are never brought up to a high enough temp, to where the slotting is needed for venting and cooling. I on the other hand, have a back road i to take to Vegas. It is curvy as heck, And even with traction control disabled, it still kicks in non stop from me throwing my little bread box thru the twisties as fast as possible can. I brake VERY aggressively and enjoy a very spirited drive on that back road. I believe i fully utilize the function of a slotted or drilled rotor during those little stints. But your correct in that a good set of after market pads will usually do the trick. And that is where my current set up is, as of today. As for my old crappy slotted rotors i just took off,.... well, we're gonna find out how well they hold up to a 30-06 round Cannon
  6. Most likely Cal,.. but ya know,.. like they always say, you get what you pay for. My brake guy is suppose to call me today with a price on REAL slotted rotors,.. if it's a good deal, then i'll replace with that, other wise the stock rotors go back on with upgraded pads. So we'll see. Canno
  7. SOOOoooooo,... update evereyone. The rotors Ackman sold me are garbage.... been on my edge less than a month, and are already heat spotted, warped, the whole nine yards. I step on the breaks, and the vehicle shakes and sounds like i'm driving over grooved concrete. I guess it's true what they say,... ya get what ya pay for. I will say this tho.... the rotors looked brand spanking new when i got them, so i doubt (?) Ackman knew these would be an issue. Just giving everyone a heads up, do NOT buy these rotors if you see them else where on the net!!!!! Cannon Stock rotors go back on tomorrow....
  8. It's a satchel!!!! Indiana Jones had one! Bahahahaha*snort*hahahaa
  9. C'mon Cal3Thousand,... be honest. You put the trash in your purse too. LOL Sorry, couldn't resist. Cannon
  10. I think someone just needs to make a turbo system for our little edgies,.... problem solved!!
  11. Ya know these won't work in your new 2011 Edge,..?
  12. Hmmm,.. got any gold or silver to trade? And i don't mean jewelry. Like American Silver Eagles, or one 5 gram gold bar? Just wondering.
  13. Gosh, to bad ya didn't live near me,... i did mine myself, then drove it in and got it realigned. Cannon
  14. Plus right before i took it in for my estimate,... some how...and i have Noooooo idea how (lol),.. but more scratches showed up on other body panels that weren't scratched or damaged,.. thus causing my insurance to have to cover those panels as well,.. resulting in less out-of-pocket costs to me to get it repainted ))) Cannon (don't judge me)
  15. Here's why i can't give you a real estimate! I hit a deer,.. then chipped in some of my own money, along with getting a killer deal from my friend who owns the body shop. So, how could i possibly tell you what the actual cost would be....!? Cannon
  16. Thanks Vitka! It is definitely a paint job that people either love, or hate. I do get alot of people loving it tho Cannon
  17. Pretty much everything "Cal3thousand" said. It all depends on the type of tire you buy. High performance dry tires are just that,.. high performance, for dry pavement. There are tires designed specifically for snow, rain, and dry performance, and the tread and prices vary for each. I don't recall what the exact drop per inches for the H&R springs were, i'm sure it's listed on their site. As you can see from the pics, it didn't "low-rider" drop it tho. LOL I think the "Storm trooper" idea is AWESOME! Wish i lived near ya and could take your credit card and go do it up for ya! Keep us posted for sure! -Cannon
  18. Mine is lowered with the H&R springs, and i am very pleased with it. Along with my 22" wheels, and lower profile tires, my little edgie has alot less pitch and roll. I can hustle the little bread box thru the twisties pretty darn fast! I feel my edge still has a nice ride comfort too. It is definitely alittle more firmer than stock, but i like it much more that way. Just fyi -Cannon
