  1. OK ok ok,.. i felt so bad, i ran out in the rain to get the size. 285/35/22 Nitto's. I think they are Nitto Invo's. I like their tread wear, traction and temp. They ride good, and stick nice. And the tread wear rating should make them good for alittle while. Cannon
  2. Hey IrishTuner, sorry i don't remember the offset,.. i think it was 45 or something like that, lol. Tire size,... ummm,.. need to get off my butt and go look. The wheels are 22's tho. 2,4shofast,.. thanks, i just wired the LED's up so that they blink when the turn signals blink,... looks kinda trick -CAnnon
  3. You can get the wraps in almost any color and also in different color carbon fibers. Headlight Armor is where i bought the CF wrap, and that is all they carry. Stickercity.com carries other colors etc,.. i believe. -Cannon
  4. True. I really like carbon fiber too. And i'm big into modifying vehicles. Not that many Edges on here are all that modified.
  5. I believe it would be removable with no problems. As for leather,.. not sure. Plastics and metals should be fine tho. It's amazing how real it looks. I love carbon fiber and have had alot of expensive real CF pieces on my vehicles in the past. The fake stuff never even comes close to looking like the real thing. But this stuff does. I dig it. Gonna wrap my side mirrors, and rear wing when the weather clears up. -Cannon
  6. I was able to get the material to stretch pretty deep into the cupholder, but i ended up cutting two strips that were the depth of the cupholders and just did a second wrap around the inside of the cupholder. I didn't wrap the very bottom of the cupholder tho. -Cannon
  7. Coolio. CYA over there brother. And thank you. -Cannon (prior MP)
  8. Thinking of wrapping the rear wing and maybe the side mirrors. -Cannon
  9. Not to be negative, but i'm not gonna take more pics and then upload them onto my computer, and then deal with this stupid sites picture upload program. lol Now the good news! Headlight Armor is one place that sells the Hexis Carbon Fiber film. When i got the CF wrap in the mail, the directions pretty much say, prep, and stick, then cut out where needed, and it mentions using a heat gun to mold,.. thats it. So i was very reluctant to get started. I watched a few youtube videos of people working with this stuff, and it really is amazing... you can stick it, and then lift it back off, quite a few times. When you heat it, you can stretch it in ways you'd never think were possible with vinyl wraps. It is pretty much impossible to get a air bubble underneath it too!! I've already ordered another large sheet of it, and plan to do my side mirrors, and rear wing on my Edge. And like i said earlier, it looks as close to real carbon fiber as i have ever seen (dry carbon fiber). -Cannon
  10. I cut it out myself. It comes in different size sheets
  11. 75 views and only one person commented....? I guess everyone hates it...? lol
  12. I love da' bubblemint. And it fits, oh so perfect there. LOL -Cannon
  13. Ok, not to beat a dead horse here, but i currently have my LED wires attached to the parking lamp wires positive and neg., respectively. Your saying connect both LED wires (positive and negative) to the parking lamps positive wire...? -Cannon
  14. Bought some of the Hexis Carbon Fiber wrap from Headlight armor. Gotta tell ya, this is the best looking fake carbon fiber i have EVER seen. It's looks 99% real. Textured even! Reflects like CF too. Anyways, i was alittle intimidated about putting it on,.. didn't want to mess it up and have wasted my money. Watched a few youtube videos on it, and was even more impressed with this stuff. It really is amazing. And i LOVE CF. Heck when i was done i even wrapped my Spy sunglesses! Anyways,.. here are the pics. I am VERY pleased with the end result, and it gives the interior a freakin cool look,.... wel i think so anyways. Enjoy the pics -Cannon Oh and i wrapped my front and rear Ford ovals. )

  16. Take your Edge to a place that does the vinyl wraps on cars for advertisement. Have them wrap the grill in what ever color you want. Then reinstall. Get a small sheet of the wrap to keep on hand. If you get any major chips in the vinyl, just cut out that area and stick on a new piece. You'd have to have your face literally inches from the grill to notice a patch job. I think the vinyl is tougher than a paint job too. Just my 2 cents worth, and thats what i did. -Cannon View my gallery for pics
  17. Both wires from the LED's are spliced into both of the wires from the turn signal bulbs. I'm not sure i'm understanding you,... are you saying connect both wires from the LED to one single wire from the turn signal bulbs? -Cannon (slightly confused, sorry) I want the LED's to stay light WITH the amber turn signals,.. and blink when they do as well.
  18. So, i have a set of aftermarket (amber in color) LED lights spliced in with my parking lights (in the front). My question is, how can i make these mimic my front parking lights,.... ie: blink when the parking lights blink, like when using a turn signal, or hazards? Right now, they come on with my parking lights, but do not blink. Are just constant on. While they look cool, i thought it would look even more trick if they blink with the corresponding blinking parking light. Suggestions? -Cannon
  19. Well,... I've heard the saying that, "American's like big, hairy, bad ass, fast cars" )) My edge is zippy at least! The paint job does get alot of looks and compliments. Thanks tho! -Cannon
  20. Classy yet still hairy,...LOL Thanks,.... i think -Cannon
  21. Well for what it's worth, i had installed "Headlight Armors" pre-made tinted tail light films that were made for the Edge. I went with a really dark tint, about equal to limo tint (see my pics). During the day time i've been told you can barely see my tail lights (my third brake light is NOT tinted). I had a light tint on my headlights, but it killed my headlight beam so bad at night, that i have since removed it. I'd like to add that i have been pulled over twice by CHP (california highway patrol) for my tinted rears (never ticketed,.. membership has it's privileges), once even at night as he was going to pass me,.. he slowed down, did a second look then pulled me over. All-in -all, i plan to remove the tint film for exactly as everyone has stated,... safety. I do think they look cool, especially on my vehicle since my edge is "murdered" out. But i don't want to sacrifice safety, or coolness. Plus, i've said it once, and i'll say it again,.. i've got coolness over flowin' from my ears! So, having taillights that aren't tinted,.. no worries Just my 2 cents worth. -Cannon
  22. Hey Wil, thanks for the compliments. I can't give you a accurate cost on the paint job. What i paid is no where near what anyone else would pay. As for the grill and bezels, i had the front grill wrapped in flat black vinyl, and i just painted the fog light bezels. You'll need to repaint the bezels every few months tho.. easy tho, i just usually paint them while still on the car. Taped ...

  23. Even says "Murdered" on the rear emblem, instead of "Ford" Check out my photo gallery,.. more pics there. -Cannon
