  1. You should be able to purchase it from a local Ford dealer. I did a search for the number that was on the harness but it doesn't come up, Ford must have a different number that they go by.
  2. I purchased the unit off Ebay you also need the amp, as long as the unit comes out of a Ford unless you want the Lincoln or Mercury flashscreen to show when the radio starts up. Model # doesn't matter, yes the wiring harnesses are the same for the 2008 thru 2010 models as long as both have factory navigation the unit plugs right in. I reprogrammed the unit myself both sync and steering wheel functions all work and I even installed a backup camera as seen in pictures. I first checked with our local Ford dealer and they told me it was not posible to do but it is posible if you know how to do it. You have to program the unit when it is installed in the vehicle.
  3. Yes a 2009 navigation unit will work in a 2008. the unit has to be programmed to work in the 2008. I installed one in our 2008
  4. It should pull right off. I've had mine off a few times without any problems.
  5. Remove the four screws for the handles on the bottom panel. Then just pull the panel towards you starting at one corner it will pull right off.
  6. Yes I had to remove the rear hatch interior panel and ran the wires on the passenger side. I just removed the door weatherstrip along the top and pushed the wires into the headliner. I also removed the passenger side front pillar moulding and ran the wires to the radio. I purchased the camera harness for the Lockpick which plugs iinto the radio unit.
  7. So far it seems to be working great. The vehicle health report wasn't working and I could not figure out why until I checked the Lockpick website and saw they had an update which fixed the problem.
  8. There is a Ford rear view camera listed on Ebay # 130478016599 That says it has the sync mic on top for $150.
  9. If you go to Accessories & Modifications and search gauge.
  10. Yes I had the same problem so I changed mine to the black faces.
  11. I was wondering if you are getting rid of any of the wiring harnesses from the Edge.
  12. I added this to our 2008 Edge follow the link and look fo er65nsunny http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/2710-2009-factory-sony-nav-system/ and this link for the camera http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/2768-backup-camera-install-into-factory-nav-unit/page__st__20
  13. You could but you would have to change all the leds if you know how to solder, I believe someone on the fusion forum did it to their Ford Fusion.
  14. You wouldn't be able to take a picture of it would you. I would apreciate it.
  15. Thats for the cup holders, the wiring diagram shows one under the console lid. I was just wondering where it was located.
  16. I was wondering where the leds are located under the console lid on a 2009 - 2010 Edge with the factory ambient lighting. I looked at the wiring diagrams and it shows the wiring under the lid on the left side. I was wondering if anyone has a picture showing where the led is located. Thanks
  17. This is how for a non nav unit. PRESS AUX TO ACCESS SATELLITE RADIO Retrieve 12-digit ESN: In satellite radio mode, press AUX and preset “1” simultaneously.
  18. I have a 2008, The release button is located in the recesed portion below the license plate. the 2007s might be able to relocate to that area.
  19. On the nav unit there is an / button for information press it and then select system info. There will be the information for the sirius ID number.
  20. Yes the 2009-2010 nav units play DVDs, the 2008 units do not.
  21. You would have to remove the radio to see if there are three wiring harness behind it, The none nav unit radios only use two harnesses, but the other one may be there. If the harness is not their you would not be able to install a factory nav unit in the vehicle.
  22. Remove the center finish panel that surronds the radio then remove the lower panel under the steering column, then remove the two bolts for the cluster. . There is a rubber piece between the upper steering column and the cluster that snaps into the cluster housing just pull up on it to release it. The cluster then can be pulled out which allows you to disconnect the rear liftgate connector if you have the power lifgate option. After the cluster comes out remove the wire harness for the cluster. It's pretty easy once you figure it out. It took me awhile since I didn't realize the rubber piece was there.
  23. The gauges are part of the cluster, It's just the face that is replaced.
  24. I was wondering if you might have the usb and audio input from the console, and the panel that has the power plug from the lower instrument panel that meets the console in black.
