  1. Well here's what I ended up purchasing for my 2014 ford edge SE. Hood switch - BT4Z-19G366-A Series 100 w/1 key - BC3Z-19G364-A Is there anything I'm missing that is necessary? The car is equipped with a factory alarm if that makes a difference. If these are the wrong parts please let me know and I'll return them and buy the right stuff. Trying to help the wife and kids beat the heat and humidity out here in MO.
  2. I did 4 coats and used just over 1 can. The first 2 coats were light, 3rd coat heavy and a 4th coat for the texture I wanted. Probably could have used just one can but I hate how they sputter paint when they are near empty.
  3. Trying to read through this and make sure I have everything correct before I make an order. This will be installed on a 2014 Edge SE. Is this parts list correct: Long range antenna - DL3Z-15603-C VSS - DT4Z-19A361-A Long range FOB - DS7Z-15K601-F And finally the hood switch - BT4Z-19G366-A
  4. It's been confirmed, I've caught the upgrade bug. Sometime next week I'll be adding LED DRLs to our SE thank to kmilliorn. After looking in the classifieds I count pass them up.
  5. K million, check your email. If still available I'll take them for $140 shipped.
  6. Is there a link on the subject of cutting them open? I'm more than willing to buy a used set of lights to practice this.
  7. Those are freakin awesome. Can't make up my mind if I want a DIY approach. If I'm going DIY I might pick up a set of cheap broken tab headlights off ebay to practice on. At the very least I'll end up with an extra lens and inserts. Taking the lights apart on a '14 is the same as other vehicles right? Bake, pull, repeat? Is I'm pulling them apart I'd like to body match as much as possible inside.
  8. Where would one go about getting this remote control demon eye set up and how hard would it be to incorporate it into an aftermarket headlight? I just can't stand that Amber color in the stock headlights anymore.
  9. That might be a possibility from what I've seen around here they look good like that. Would save some money for the other thing I'm looking at doing. The LED DRLs are on the list and HID headlights. The wife wants pink halos also but I don't know if that's going to happen.
  10. Thanks! The weekend before I took out the rear lights and sprayed a couple coats of rustoleum lens tint and some clear coat. Came out decent for the time being and some what separates us from the pack. Going to hit the wheels this weekend with the plasti dip to hold us over until my lady finds the rims she likes. The only downside to doing the grill is now the factory lights look out of place and will probably get replaced sooner than later.
  11. Plasti dipped the grill and headlight trim over the weekend. Took the bumper completely off and the headlight trim off to paint everything. Actually pretty easy and amazed by the results. Hopefully the pic comes out a decent size:
  12. Thanks for the replies guys. I'll try and get a better picture here later today. At the moment she is sitting at 28k miles. The oil isn't coming from the filler neck. Hopefully it's just a sloppy shop. I'll get it cleaned up and monitor it for a couple weeks before I start to worry I guess.
  13. 2014 Ford Edge 3.5l with 28k on it. What would cause this oil leak and is it something I can fix easily or possibly covered under warranty?
  14. I just did the matte black plasti dip on the grill and headlight trim and it looks fantastic. The entire bumper cover is super easy to remove and replace.
