  1. I assume you are talking about the springs. Be sure the springs are right side up and are sitting in the cups properly . There are no spacers used with H&R springs that I am aware of .The rear of the car should be even right to left . If that is what you referred to. Did you look at the H&R Spring install threads we have here at the Forum?  There are some good tips and tricks to insure proper fitment of the springs and ease the install .We also recommend a new alignment with the springs. Align it after the springs have set in. It takes a few miles and some time for them to set, then align the car . I have posted alignment specs as have others for G2 Edge Sports with H&R springs. The specs are different than stock this is to adjust for the new ride height.

  2. I have the Weather Tech mats same as 2FAST4U they snap in, fit great, do the job and are also made in the USA just like Husky. I have been using them for a while now and they still fit great with no warpage, the snaps still work as new and they still look good after 3 wet muddy winters and super hot summers.  It got up to 118 in the shade last summer one day and I am sure it was hotter in the car.  Having the mat act as a bowl works very well. I like that they keep the mess under control and protect the foot well sides. It looks to me like the Husky's have more and deeper groves to channel the water than the Weather Tech's.

All this angst over 3 letters (sPORt).

This just shows that there is a market for a true high performance Edge. Something with 360 to 380 HP would be suitable to carry the ST badge. With that kind of power there would be no argument . And fortunately all the ST needs to get that power is a LMS tune.

Two words ... "Turning Radius"  It is just too big. The Edge has a horrible turning radius . The new Lexus UX has a turning radius of only 17.1 foot.

I have cursed many times in my Edge when I had to make a three point turn that my larger Explorer would have made easily. This is my main complaint with the Edge.  A tight turning radius makes a huge difference in maneuverability and confidence .

They do a horrible job showing off anything but the sides. SSTuning is making sideskirts to match the front lip also. I dunno if I could pay this much for these though. I guess if I had nothing better to buy.

I agree. What were they thinking with those night shots ? They need better product shots and not on the car so one can see what one is paying for. They also need better photos of the finished car. I am still happy to see some progress on Edge aftermarket parts.

And after spending that $10k on the Ford, you would still not have a Porsche....

Correct you would have an American car, a Ford SUV no less that would be faster to 60mph, faster in the 1/4 mile, faster around a road course than the allmighty  Porsche Macan GTS that you just spent $68,900 dollars on.  Think how embarrassing it would be for that Porsche Macan GTS owner who just got smoked by a Ford Edge ST. Think what one could do if you put that entire $26,500 price difference into the  Edge ST  :) . Will it ever be a Porsche ... no, thank goodness for that. :ford:

  7. Rebuttal ? :

As the Canadian boys point out the Porsche Macan S is the closest competitor to the Edge ST and the ST is just as fast. The base Macan S costs $13,045 USD more than the base Edge ST. If you were to put $10,000 USD into the Edge ST in aftermarket upgrades it would walk all over the Macan GTS $68,900 USD and you would still have $3,045 USD in the bank from the S or $16,545 USD from the GTS.  But you don't need to put 10K into the ST to have a Macan GTS killer . A $700 tune is all you need. A tune will not only give you more HP and TQ  it also addresses how the transmission shifts.  The Edge is bigger, can haul more stuff, it is less expensive to maintain and it can park itself.

Checked Magna Flow site two days ago and found they now list a Cat Back exhaust for the 2019 ST Part #19447  $897.Hope this makes a few more ponies and will be an  definate improvement in sound .It is next on my list! And the performance parts list is getting better.

Looks like it comes with duel tips in the photo . If so the exhaust bezels will have to be removed or modified for it to fit. Perhaps the photo was not of the ST but just a generic photo.

Sorry it took so long to post this re: underhood LED strip.  I installed a pin switch in the location shown by the arrow.  One lead to ground and one to power so that when the pin is released (hood up) the circuit is grounded, the circuit completed, and power goes to the LED strip.  The red line and red dotted line show the wire route up to the LED strip in the circle.  Got the LED strip from 1000bulbs.com.  You can get them in various lengths, wattages, and lumens.  Sorry, I can't specifically remember what I got.  I did the same with the glove box light.  No pics on that yet.  I did not put any additional lighting in the cargo area.  Hope this helps!

Nice light under the hood! It is needed and a clean install. I believe that the reason Ford did not put a light under the hood is because cars nowadays are not that owner serviceable. Think I will copy your idea :2thumbs: . Could you please show some photos and info of how you mounted the switch under the hood.

  10. I dust off the car with a California Car Duster every Day weather permitting . Then use a spray detailer to get rid of any of those yellow spots or bird poop . I do not use the spray detailer over the entire car just on the spots that need touching up. This practice keeps the car looking good between washes. When the car gets dirty I hand wash then use a spray wax over the entire car to finish. I have used 3D, Meguiar's and Smart Wax spray wax. I use Smart Detail for the touch up.  I had the car sealed when I bought it with Cilajet...  https://www.cilajet.com  so it does not take that much to keep the paint looking shinny and feeling smooth. I get a second Ciliajet treatment inside and out including the wheels at 5 years from the dealership no charge.

  11. I believe it is possible to increase the air flow from right to left by modifying the Sight Shield. Part# - Ford (FT4Z-16A238-A) $50.97 at Tasca. A side effect of adding space above the radiator besides more air flow from right to left is bit cooler air. My drafting skills are not that good but you should get the idea. The raised area should be almost straight with a slight curve. Not like the drawing. I have not worked out the  exact dimensions of the raised area yet, but have determined that there is some room to do this. Just guessing here around 3/8 inch tall X 1 inch or so wide. Properly done it would complement the mods I have already done. Basically just expand and extend the hump on the drivers side all the way across . See photo on page 1 of this thread named ( Job Done ).

I never heard of Blood Type Racing but after reading the article I went to their website and sent them a message asking if the intake they made for that car if they were going to make it available for consumers.  Hopefully tomorrow they answer the question :)

I built a similar intake for my car a couple years ago, it actually hurt performance as the  air under the hood is very hot. Looks good but I removed it after road testing it. I do have a two other designs for air intake and both require cutting .
