  1. I'm back! I made all those resets. Somehow works... In the morning it shows random temperature like -21C or -15C. After I start moving and drive for about 4-5 min, starts to change the temperature indication, showing alternatively like +/- 2C around the real temperature. After a while stops changing, stabilizes. If I stop somewhere, like for some shoppings, in a parking lot, when I start the engine and start moving the temperature starts again somewhere very cold and than is adjusting while driving. Is this a normal behavior? It seems to be a very odd behavior and I am not convinced about the reliability of the information. Also this fluctuation affects the A/C and the auto-off. Is there anything that can be done in order to have e normal and constant temperature indication. I have never seen this kind of behavior at any other cars and I drove a few... Thanks!
  2. Hello! Thanks for the tip. I took the second option because the first has been already done. And it seems that it works. I will continue to monitor it. But it is still a question: how come only a few tech's know this tip? Thanks anyways. I will let them know how it has been fixed. Maybe they will start to follow this kind of forums that are very useful. Thanks enigma-2 !!!
  3. Hello! Ford Edge Titanium 2016 AT 2.0 diesel bi-turbo engine: Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) indication on the dashboard is very wrong. Indicates -40C or any other very low temperature indication, considering that there are about -1C. Also when warmer, the difference is significant. This wrong indication alters the a/c, considering that it dictates the functioning regime. Also the engine auto-off is not working, because the cars "knows" that the ambient temperature is -40C !!! Went to dealer three times and still not found the problem. Replaced the sensor and still the same crazy indication. If someone has/had the same problem please let me know, including the solution . Thanks!
  4. It did last summer at 40 degrees. Not for a long time (15-20 sec) but it's stressful for the turbine anyways.
  5. I have two more suggestions: 1. Make somehow that all LED's from the brake lamp over the rear windshield to light up not only half of them. 2. The "start-stop" function to be by default "off" and to be activated by the switch on the central console. This function is useful for urban traffic to reduce consumption but I only want to know that, if the turbine has no oil cooling during "engine stop" suddenly at every traffic light, isn't affecting it's reliability?
  6. Thanks but we are suggesting modifications that can be made by manufacturer not by the owner.
  7. Actually I have a kind of parking plot at the end pf the alley but I also have three cars, mine included. So the issue can not be solved with that idea. I will search to see if the LED bulbs have the same socket at my car like the one Candurin just showed. It might be a good solution if those bulbs are really so bright. Thanks!
  8. One more idea: there are a lot of gadgets (like dashboard cameras or radar detectors for example) that need 12V socket. Al those cables across the dashboard are ugly. Is it possible to have a 12V outlet somewhere up, where the cable do are not stretched over the dashboard? Thanks! Or maybe close to the windshield somehow? Or the side A pillars? Maybe...?
  9. Now that's a thing! And it's possible to have it? How can I identify that function? This car for me is still an enigma... I only have about 1000 miles on it...
  10. I have the 2.0 l diesel engine with 210Hp and 440Nm torque. Biturbo. And AT transmission with Powershift gear box, also pads +/- for manual and Sport mode. Very jumpy for a diesel.
  11. I would like to be able to use the split-view camera as a dashboard camera and to record. More applications that can be used from SYNC3. (like Waze?) Speed follow. To set the cruise control as to be able to automatically adjust the speed according to the front car. Rear light LED projector incorporated somewhere up. When running backwards the light is too dim.
  12. Still, what's the use for the split-view camera, anyways? I also have sensors. Maybe to see people crossing the street, small children or animals, or what? How do you use it? Thanks!
