    Agree, this is likely due to a defective clock spring but (less likely) could also be a wiring/connector or ACM issue.

    Just disconnect the battery for a few minutes and the system will recalibrate itself when you reconnect and restart. Don't touch the AC controls for about a minute after starting. That's all there is to it.

    I Is the driver side temperature control functioning normally?

    The remote start system counts as one of the admin keys. You can erase all the keys with FORScan.
