Great for an electrician, but what I was looking for is vehicle location and color of the wire not a schematic. Also is it advisable to tap into a wire or run from the battery?

I am trying to wire in some Electro Pods ( http://www.electropodshop.com/product.sc?p...mp;categoryId=3 ) under the front dash to light up the floor and want them to run off the interior lights. I need help to identify where the best place is to tap off a wire and which wire to use (color). Anyone who can help - it would be much appreciated. '08 Edge Limited. Gary

I received my bumper protector and installed today. It isn't a perfect fit but should do the job. I had a difficult job getting the curve to fit correctly. Both ends fit good but the middle is as much as 1/4" out. I think I will fill the gap in with some black silicone. I also had to pay $33.00 to get it through customs to Canada. Looks Good.

Thanks for the link. The other supplier wouldn't ship to Canada. This one does so I ordered one.

The truth is that this problem happens in the winter. I'll let you know after I have gone through another winter to say it is fixed for sure.

As one of the previous posts says about this problem - it isn't fixed yet.\! My blog will stay up whether you like it or not! Anyways, bottom line is... just get on with it Ford Edgers! There are major issues with drive shafts, the seals and the PTUs on the Edges! Great car, but if you have one of the lemons.. it ain't gonna get any better..Trust me it is just a waiting game until the seal lets go again and your car is back in for the "newest PTU that the engineers have developed"... Over 9 months ago I bought a brand new vehicle with less that 1,000 miles on it. After several visits and changing 2 seals and related fluids and drive shaft - I am not going to rush to any conclusions. As a consumer that is my prerogative. Any other major consumer products I would have returned in a minute. I will thank Ford if it is fixed, but after all they put me through they should not be proud of products they produce. The never compensate for the time and effort and anguish that they put people through. If I hear some good stories I will report on them. A fricken thank you note from them would be a start, but they are even too ignorant to do that. SMOKIN EDGE

I think mine is fixed as well, however I will reserve judgment until I go through another winter since that is when the problem seems to appear. SMOKIN EDGE

I just installed mine about an hour ago it looks great. I used the Ford Edge Deflector. You have to push the deflector up against the lip of the hood so the deflector is about a half inch away from the hood. If you install flush with the face of the hood it won't work. SMOKIN EDGE

My Edge is black and it looks like orange peel surface around the license plate area. Poor Quality SMOKIN EDGE
