  1. 2016 Ford Edge, cranks but do not start, until message "Cranking Time Exceeded" appears on dash (which requires a 15mins wait until you can try again). OBD11 check suggest "Low Fuel Rack Pressure", which suggest an "open" relay contact, so loss of communication. Found major ants infestation under the two wired packs close to the fuse compartment (cleaned it off and spray with WD40) Car cranks, then starts, runs for a short while, then shuts off. Took (towed) it to the Dealer (KIG, in Kingston, Jamaica), and awaiting their diagnosis, repair and bill. Will post the outcome of this event, when becomes available
  2. Here's an alternative, you may alter the wiring in the harness, to switch to continuous power (yellow wire) to the backup camera, and install a small switch. With this option, you may add a few more cameras to the setup
  3. If there is no steering wheel control etc, after the installation of the aftermarket audio, you may need a Canbus to help restore these features. Just look up the Canbus for your variant online
  4. There are a lot of aftermarket AndroidHead Units our there (esp from China), which are plug and play (you may also need a Canbus adapter as well), and come complete with fitment bezel. Seicane.com offers a few, but there are more affordable options at Aliexpress. The picture attached is for the 2015 to 2017 Edge
  5. 2016 Ford Edge SE Would love to know (step-by-step) how to remove factory installed Roof Racks
  6. I'm currently in Kingston, Jamaica, and I see a few of them per week. The local FORD Dealer is KIG (www.kigjamaica.com), the OLDEST Ford Dealer outside of the USA
  7. Please note that the 2015 - 2018 Edge uses the H11 (not H9). Can anyone speak to a LED conversion kit to replace the stock Low Beam lights (which rather poor)??
  8. Thanks Enigma-2, but as you suggested the link was dated. My trim is the 2016 Ford Edge SE with the 2.0L engine. I'm currently in Jamaica (with the Edge), and need to get it inspected (similarly to the US's DMV), however in Jamaica they also verify the VIN and Engine Number. I know it's on the Engine Block someplace, and I'm trying to avoid going to the Ford Dealer for their confirmation, as it's not in the Owner's Manual I need to know if I need to remove the engine cover, or if it's visible with the cover on. Your guidance in this matter would be very appreciative.
  9. HELP!!! Can someone please advise how my I locate the Engine Number on a 2016 Ford Edge
