  1. Definitely could be the case I suppose. Electronic shifting can be strange in some cases. Odd that a reset can make it better sometimes and others not.
  2. I just got a 2016 2.0L and noticed the same thing. It's hard to hear it when you have the engine running, but I believe the noise you're describing is what omar302 was mentioning.
  3. That makes sense. It probably learned some strange shifting behavior at some point and disconnecting the battery won't make it forget the learned values. Sometimes, leaving the battery disconnected for a longer period of time works, but not sure on this one specifically. How long did you leave yours disconnected?
  4. Similar for us too! We just got a 2016. Loving it so far. Feels a lot like my 2013 Fusion
  5. They don't necessarily snap in usually. They have spikes on the bottom that keep them in place while not destroying the carpet. They are cheaper than WeatherTech (usually) and provide great protection. Having them act as a bowl works great, then you can just dump out the extra water. I plan on getting a set of Husky Liners for mine soon. Had them in my Fusion and absolutely recommend them
  6. Did you end up finding a solution for this?
  7. That is true. It certainly takes some time to train yourself on how you should drive with the stop start feature turned on. It really can help save you some gas, but turning it off is certainly an option using the tools mentioned. Personally, I agree that Stop Start systems in most cars is a pain and should allow for the user to configure their own default settings.
  8. Oddly enough, the MIL/CEL is now off. Not sure if it was some bad fuel I picked up along my travels and enough key cycles have passed for it to clear itself out or what happened, but at least it's off for now.
  9. Oh wow that sounds like a crazy issue! I did not have any issues starting it after fill up. I did just recently replace the purge valve assembly on my fusion that was having issues with starting after fill up. But that was a P1450 code. I'm thinking since I just bought this vehicle, and it's still covered under warranty, I may take it in. I wasn't sure if something like this would be covered under the Powertrain warranty, but seems it should.
  10. I just got a 2016 Edge this weekend and while driving it for >2 hours I had no issues. Now all of a sudden, I see a P2096 code for Post Catalyst Fuel System Trim Too Lean Bank 1. Any ideas? Only thing I did was fill up at a gasoline station then a while after, I saw this code come up.
