Totally agree with Cerberus. I empty mine every 1000miles and it has about as much as what his picture shows. I added the JLT unit the first week I bought it (2019 ST with 56k miles).
Pretty sure I don't want all of that liquid going back into the motor, so for the price and ease of installation and maintenance, I consider it money/time well spent.

I went with Michelins to get a treadwear warranty. Those Pzero’s had great traction in the heat which the Michelins do not, but the Pzero’s only lasted 24,000 and the Michelins are currently at 32k and probably have another 5-6k before time to replace.

Totally agree with taurussvt - I've had the spare on my 2019 ST with the brake/wheel package in since the first time my car was down for a week waiting for a Pirelli replacement

based on your description I might look at the right front hub/bearing assembly

Please update us on your install with pics and such

Yes they are very fragile but easy to replace (done in both my Honda Pilot and Ford Explorer) after doing wheel hub replacements.

Sorry to hear you won’t be making any more. Your ingenuity and creativeness was fun to watch!

The perhaps the cables need adjustment for the new thickness of the discs?

Does the 2009 have electronic parking brake? If so did you put it in maintenance mode when you worked on the brakes?
-
Yeah, that looks like it should work!!

I just completed this project last weekend (2019 ST) and yes Ford engineers made access an absolute pain!! I essentially did what you are thinking with the 3/8" steel rod and used a 3/8" breaker bar from Autozone. I took the tool apart because you still can't get the angle quite right, put the 3/8" piece in and when it was aligned, I put the bar's "U" section around the piece and turned it a quarter turn at a time. When it wouldn't line up exactly right, I used an allen key pushed through the hole on the 3/8" piece to turn it enough to get the bar back on. Fortunately it isn't in there too tight.

Seems like the ST got it in 2019, and in some cases (I think there is a hot weather group that is available in certain locales) earlier Edges with the 2.7 (Sport and ST) had it as well.
Yes, my 2019 ST has cooling into the PTU.

Old member here. Still have my Edge and Mustang but have picked up two older Hondas in the past 3.5 years. One is a 1992 Civic EX Sedan (fully-loaded grandma spec, big engine and auto trans) and the other is a Japanese market 1996 spec Integra Type R (if Honda made a GT350 in the 90s). I cannot utter enough praises for these old things. Honda's engineering in the 1980s and 1990s was incredible. Only thing they could have done better is paint their vehicles with something that won't burn off if you look at it funny.
That Integra sounds fun!

There are no screws or anything holding it down after you remove the 2 side pieces. Just pull up evenly from the sides, it will pop out.

On my 2019 ST, it doesn't use 8th gear in sport mode.
To confirm, going 70mph in 8th gear in normal mode, hit the "S" button and car downshifted to 7th. Paddle shifters won't let it go to 8th in sport mode.

i think you have convinced me that i should do that to my 2020 ST!
Great result with minimal effort. Made a huge difference in the overall quality of the sub sound.

Was thinking the same thing.
Here is info on Gates Barricade Fuel Hose https://www.gates.com/us/en/fluid-power/engine-hose/fuel-line-hose.p.4219-000000-000000.v.4219-05652.html
Looks like that is the hose they sent me this time, so hopefully this solves it once and for all. So far so good!

Got the new hoses in yesterday and installed them. So far so good, they are quite different, thicker, not as flexible. Hopefully they fix the problem once and for all,I have attached a photo showing the new hose type (green writing) -
