  1. I tried searching for previous topics, and I found "Is Edge Sony Premium TRUE SACD 5.1 Surround?" with no replies. So, I fear maybe I won't get a response either. But here goes. Can the Ford Sync3 handle 5.1 audio? Note that I currently have a fairly high end audio system in my 2019 ST. I have a gizmo, forget the brand, but it grabs digital audio from the car's bus and sends it via fiber optic to my DSP. Thus, I actually have digital audio from the source to the DSP. I currently only have it as 2.1, no rear speakers. Just front 3-way setup (active) and a sub. I was starting to consider putting in a 5.1 system. But, I don't know if the Sync 3 will send 5.1 on its bus that my gizmo works with. Come to think of it, that vendor will probably be the best place to find out. I guess I will try that. I just thought of that while typing this question.
  2. Here is a product I found in another thread. I do not have it so I can't say if it is good or bad. But since this thread seems to be intended as a "master list", and I don't see this product here, I thought I would mention it: https://www.velossatechdesign.com/products/2018-2019-ford-edge-st-ram-air-big-mouth-w-flare-intake-snorkel It is a "ram air intake snorkel". The page only lists compatibility with 2018 Sport and 2019 ST.
  3. Thanks for the clarification of the issues. I hope some day you will be able to make a product for the newer models. Thanks for your time, I can see you are working hard for the community.
  4. Of course I understand that you have your hands full as is. And I understood from this long thread that it was a lot of work. So honestly, if you said, "ferget it, I'm done" I would understand. But, the fact that you have future plans are great. It has been my understanding that the Sport and the ST are not really very different. So I was surprised when you said it didn't fit the ST. How much different is it, in the area we are talking about?
  5. I didn't read every post in this topic. But I read enough to know that you spent a lot of time designing this. Any chance you might make an ST version?
  6. OH OH! I didn't catch that. I've got a 2019 ST. So, I guess cancel.
  7. Hey, I just found this thread! Is there any product left available? I'm okay with carbon fiber or not carbon fiber. Whatever you got, if anything.
  8. The Sync system inhibits the driver from doing things while car is in motion. Like you can't play movies while driving, which makes sense. But, the latest 3.4 has at least one new inhibit, I can't do music search while driving. I seem to remember there being a product that bypassed driver inhibits. Though it is possible I'm mistaken, but I thought I would ask. I never thought I needed it before as I didn't watch movies while driving. But, now I'm interested. So, does such a product exist? I tried a Google search and could not find anything so maybe I'm mistaken about it.
  9. There is another thread here on the Sync 3.4, which is the thread I found first. I posted in that thread issues I'm having, but perhaps this thread is the better thread. So, I will add the same information here, hope that is okay: I've got a 19 ST. Last night, my car auto-updated to Sync 3.4. I really think the new blue color scheme looks nice, though I guess not everybody does. But, it still sucks for me. Two issues: 1. You can't search your attached storage while driving. So to change what ripped CD I want to play, I have to be stopped. 2. Apparently it can't handle as many songs/artists as it used to. I have a 500 gb SSD with about 1,000 CDs/10,000 songs. It used to take a couple of minutes to index, but, it would index it. Now, I can get to artists that start with the letter A or B and that's it. So, I can play Adele or the B-52's, etc. But, I'm out of luck playing Tool. Argh!!!!!!
