Ah, got'cha. I'm not at all familiar with aftermarket stereos with GPS and backup camera support--I'm sure it is available, but you may want to consult with a local shop and see what they recommend and go from there.

CyanLabs can help you downgrade if that's what you want. Depending on the version of upgrade you received you could theoretically upgrade beyond the version that you were provided, which may also provide you with a solution as several things were fixed in the most recent available version (3.4.20196 is the newest one, 3.4.20136 is the one being sent out by Ford last I checked.)

CyanLabs has a perfectly usable solution for manually updating your maps and SYNC 3 software. Works great, I've used it on several 2017 Ford vehicles with SYNC 3 installed (2.0 and 3.0, respectively.)
