    1. play some music which is known to have some baseline in it 2. check the radio settings regarding treble/bass (turn up bass) 3. crank the volume to ~50% then you should hear the sub significally Blumi
  3. No, there are camel colored covers available.
  4. Yes, post #5 shows them. Except mine are camel color. These are 2 parts that slide together and clip to the base plate of the bracket.
  5. Thanks to user 07CRUSH I am now the happy owner of inner seat bracket covers. He took the effort to ship them to me to Germany! Thanks dude!!!
  6. I bought the car used "as is" from a non-Ford-Dealer. Ford Europe has a no documentation / parts catalogs of North-American Fords. There would be a chance if I can tell them a unique part number. They charge astronomic prices, too: For my last car, a Mustang GT, I asked for a replacement transmission. Ford Europe wanted 4900 EUR. Market price stateside: $800. So - is anybody so kind and order those parts for me? The shipping to Germany is not a problem - USPS or UPS will handle all the customs-stuff for you. I can pay with PayPal. Bastian
  7. Does anyone knows a parts source that carries them and is able to ship to Europe? Parts.com isn't.
  8. I found those covers ready to order at parts.com under "2007 Ford Edge, Seats and tracks - Rear seat components - Track cover - Inboard". But they don't ship international :-((
  9. Did anyone try to fix this? It looks so unfinished for me. This saved maybe $0.05 in production and looks so ugly ...
  10. Hi, in our 2007 Edge we have this roof-mounted DVD system which is wired to the factory head-unit. Now we are planning to switch to a fancier aftermarket head unit and are wondering what is needed to keep the DVD system running. We found a pretty expensive adaptor with some sort of electronics in it - do we need this / do you know any alternatives? Link to adaptor EDIT: What about this one: PAC C2R-FRD1 We found out about the steering wheel controls adaptor PAC SWI-PS already. Also we would like to know where the amplifier for the factory trunk-mounted sub is located. Thanks, Bastian
  11. Hi, last week our 2007 Edge has been delivered to Germany and we noticed that the middle two brackets of the back seat bench aren't covered: Is this normal or are some parts missing there? If so, could someone please look up the parts numbers for me, please (should be embossed on the backside of the parts)? I'm the only Edge in a 200mls radius here and German Ford Dealers can't help me either. Thanks, Bastian
  12. According to the Merc website, there are rims in this design available in 18 inch:
  13. Hi, I am looking to buy this 07 Edge. It's got rims I've never seen before on an Edge. Notice they got 6 spokes and are chrome. Where are they from?
  14. Hi there, I am a 31 y.o. guy from Germany. We (my girl and I) are going to buy a 2007 Ford Edge SEL Plus in Florida, than exporting it to Germany to use it as a family car. My car history contains a 2000 Ford Mustang GT, which I used to drive (and mod) for 6 years and 60000mls. I was very happy with this car and hope to be also happy with the Edge. Cheers, Busty
  15. Hey "neighbor"! We are about to import an Edge to Germany this year. As far as I know, our regulations concerning the tail lights are about the same (yellow turn signals plus rear fog light). This will be accomplished by using a yellow bulb in the factory spot for the reverse lights and rewiring it. The fog and reverse lights will be additional lights in or under the bumper. No change of the tail lights is necessary. Blumi
