where is the vehicle burned, engine compartment, interior, front , rear, undercarriage? do you have any pics?

nice job on the photo but I think 07CRUSH is correct about the lower area being chrome.

that's too bad you wont be able to add the backup system. Ford doesnt make it easy to add options if they didn't come in the vehicle. (I found out when I had my Explorer and wanted to add the heated seats lol)

Sorry to bring up an old thread but has anyone ordered the black grill? I was wondering if its just black or metallic black like the sports? I have an 07 that is just black and would like to buy one that is already plain black. Thanks.

you should be able to check with a Ford dealer to see what the paint code is for there black accessorie grille to see if it is the same as you have or if its the metallic black.

I didn't realize you were from the same area until now. Nice to see a fellow Cincy resident. That Edge of yours doesn't happen to be the one that came from Kings Auto Mall is it?

It was the one that Beechmont had for several months. I saw it there in the summer then I thought it was gone and then found it was in the show room for a whlie then it was back on the lot again. I saw it several times but didnt think of getting it until I was checking out the new SHO's and asked about the rebates on the Edge, they had very good rebates and I can get the Z plan through my Dad so it ended up getting it.

wow, that sucks, what dealer did you use? U dont have to give there name, just Initials if you want. I have been through a few dealers in town with bad luck. Just want to know if it is one on my list of not to use lol.

You will have to remove the hood insulation to get to the nozzles, just carefully remove the round plastic clips and the insulation will come down, I just had mine off a couple of months ago when I had my nozzles painted but I didn't take any pics.

I would imagine you will need to get a puller, I changed my Ranger wheel and just rented a puller from autozone, it didnt cost anything. Make sure you disconnect the battery for a few minutes before you disconnect the air bag. You don't want the air bag to deploy but it should be safe to unplug once there is no power to the vehicle.

Nice pictures, do you have reflectors on the rear bumper? Are they made in the cover or added on to the cover?

Sounds like you have some nice plans for your Edge.

I am guessing the Kuga is about the size of the Escape sold here or might be a bit smaller, I just liked the Euro look they have. I am sure your Edge is much nicer.

I had Katzkin leather in one of my past vehicles and the company is well known for the quality of leather.

I know of a few Explorer owners that used the Katzkin's and they were very happy. Ford sells them as an accessorie http://katzkin2.com/FORD/

They should fit, the upper front and rear bumper covers have the same part numbers for 07-09 on all models (including the 09 sport) so it looks like you would just have to get the lower covers.

I guess it would be strange to see a Edge in Germany, I do like the looks of the Kuga for a small suv (too bad they don't sell them in the USA) I like the color you picked, they are nice vehicles.

My 03 Explorer had the opening rear glass, I didn't use it very often so I really don't miss it on the Edge.

My 09 is the same way, I don't think they have that feature.
