  1. nice job now I know a good place in town to get a good detail done :yup: LOL.
  2. Did you ever make it out to Trester's ? Just wondering if you had any luck!
  3. you can call your insurance company and tell them what happened, it sounds like it could be a comprehension type loss.
  4. I just checked mine and it moves a bit, I would guess this is normal.
  5. Trester is a good place to get parts cheap! I got most of my interior for my Ranger there (except the seats) I need to make another trip to see what new stuff the got in since I haven't been since fall. The last time I was there they didn't have any Edge or MKX but you never know what they will have. At least they still let you go back and look around unlike most places in the area. Good luck!
  6. Wow that's a great price!! does it come with the disc? you will need one for it to operate. you might be able to find your bezel on car-parts.com (do you need to change the bezel?)
  7. I kind of thought the price was a bit high but the wheel from Ford list for $1408.08 each, that's without center caps ($32.00 each) , tires are sensors ($100.22, band kit $55.24?) (if they are included) $2800 doesn't seem too bad for factory parts.

    Pictures

at the bottom of the post it has "Attachments" just below that is has a box that reads "Choose File" click on that box and it should open up your computer and you find the pic that you want to attach and click the blue box "Attach This File" and it should work.
  9. I think you can touch the POI on the screen to show what they are (I could be wrong but I think that is how I got them to show in my MKZ )
  10. I am going to paint them, just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit. I am not sure on what color to go with. I like red but might just paint them silver. I still have some red paint left over from my old Mustang and Explorer. I wish I could find covers for the Edge, I did see some for a Mustang but so far I haven't seen any for the Edge (do you know if anyone makes them ?)
  11. I just changed my pads and rotors about 2 weeks ago. I got the EBC red stuff pads and drilled/slotted rotors. My Edge is FWD but had the 320 mm front rotors. It appears that the 07-08 have the 295 mm rotors on the FWD (320 mm on AWD) and all models after 09 have the 320 mm. (at least this is what the company I got my rotors from told me) EBC has specific pad brake in requirements. I am in the process of braking in the pads and almost have 200 miles on them so they are not quite broken in yet. (EBC pads come with detailed brake in instructions) I can tell a big difference already. I have used EBC pads on my 03 Explorer when I installed 20" wheels and noticed there was a big difference in the stopping distance, I used the EBC green stuff and drilled/slotted rotors and I was very happy with them on the Explorer so I knew they would make a difference on the Edge. I have the heavy 22" wheel option on my Edge. I weighed one of the wheels/tires when I had them off, they are 76 pounds each!
  12. your new Edge sounds nice. They are fun to drive.
  13. congrats on your Edge purchase, I am glad you like it.
