Since the laws here in CA are changing which will require you to have some type of handsfree devce to talk on your phone while driving, I've been looking at several bluetooth devices to add. For me the Sync is nice but if it can be retrofitted into the '07's, at what cost. Yes it offers a whole mess of features, one being bluetooth, but I'm happy with what I have now and dont need to tell my car to "change the station"...lol. The mobile-ease adds too much to the dash for me from what i seen in the pics, i'm looking for something that can be mounted around the center stack and will be for the most part out of sight and next to my hand as i usually rest my arm on the center stack. Right now im deciding between the Motorola IHF1000 and the Parrot CK3000. I do like the look of the IHF1000 better but my audio guy told be the parrot is better in quality. Also the IHF1000 use a external speaker where as the CK3000 use's the cars speakers. Thats the only major difference in features. Im not a fan of those ear things, so thats out. Has anyone else installed anything besides the Mobile-ease from Ford? If so what? How is the Quality? Where did ya get it? How much was unit and install? Take a look at the two and let me know what ya think. IHF1000 parrot CK3000

I hand wash my Edge. Its something I enjoy doing but if I dont have the time I take it to a Handwash place, they do a great job. as far as wax jobs, i usually have my vehichles done once a year, it seems to maintain. never heard of the two bucket method, does it have an advantage vs. spraying it off. I have one of those sprayers that have different settings so I usually set it to shower and rinse.

The Ford family is strong in our household also. We first traded my 1998 5.9L Dakota for my wifes '07 Alloy Mustang, I got stuck driving the 1999 Expedition. Two weeks later i fell in love with the Edge I test drove and I brought it home, '07 Black Clearcoat, Navi, Sirius, and all the other trimmings..... being our second car in two weeks the dealer gave us a sweet deal along with the X-Plan price :hyper:

BLISTERS!! ouch. i have the same black clearcoat edge except i choose the dvd instead of vista. i would absolutely hate to see blisters on my baby and the hot weather is here in CA. it was 105 today. thanks for the heads up on the blisters, i'll keep an eye out. :shades:

I was cleaning the interior of my edge and found a button at the base of the rear view mirror where it mounts to the window. its on top of the base. I pushed it. nothing happened. whats it for? anyone have a clue.... oh yeah and the owners manual says nothing about it.

the list of commands are under the HELP section when you hit the menu hard button. then choose navigation. you should see voice commads.......

voice command would kinda be the icing on the cake in terms of satisfaction with my EDGE. Please someone help. i guess we will just have to wait.

i am a new EDGE owner and i love it. first time navi. user and what did i do before "ANGIE" (her name). i want to know about the voice commands also. its fustrating to see the option for voice and not be able to use it. is it upgradable? if so when.
