New owner 2010 Edge SEL, but starting to wonder if I made a mistake.

Hi all. Bought my 2010 Edge used last November. Love everything about it, but now starting to wonder if I made a mistake. I've had it in for A/C work (warranty) twice now, and it's not working again. Worked fine when I bought it. Initially thought it was just low on refrigerant. They charged the system and worked fine for about a week. They then did a pressure test and found a pin hole leak in the high pressure line. It had been rubbing against something it wasn't supposed to. Replaced the line and everthing was fine until today, 2 weeks later. So it will be back to the dealer next week. Unfortunately the 3/36 warranty is getting ready to end. So a question to everyone. If a problem has been on going while it was under warranty, will it still be covered (until they fix it) after I go over 36,000? And today I had a problem with my bluetooth. I can hear who I'm calling, but they can barely hear me. I did search the forums and found it could be the mike. I was debating about getting an extended warranty, but with the new problem I'm thinking I should get now. Unfortunately it'll have to be the premium care package since the SYNC system isn't covered in the lower plans. Ok done ranting. Again Hi to everyone, and would love everyones input on these issues.

Thanks for the input NatG. I went back to the dealer who has ben working on it. They did a quick look under the hood and there was no leaks, so it has to be electrical. I will be leaving it with them next wed. to hopefully find the problem. I did contact Ford and was told that unless the dealer wants to take care of it it's between me and them. Ford said I'm out of luck if it's out of the 3/36 warranty. So unless I park it between now and then I'll have to go ahead and get an extended warranty set up over the next couple days. And thoughts of what to get? As for the mic problem,I think it was a phone problem because everything is working fine now.

Somebody correct me.

If a problem isn’t repaired under the warranty then THAT problem is still covered UNTIL it’s repaired, even after the warranty expires.

If you’re still thinking about getting an extended warranty THEY ARE VERY competitive with each other.

Read about them here.

I got a couple of online quotes took the best to my dealer and asked if they could meet or beat.

He came back $20 higher than the quote so I took it.

You do need to get it before your warranty runs out.

Google is your friend.
