drcoolcat Posted October 25, 2013 Report Share Posted October 25, 2013 Hi I own a 2010 edge and have never been satisfied with its air conditioning in hot weather and also the AC smells of fungus when i turn it on. I live in south Florida, with the A/C on AUTO it is so cold we turn it down when it's in the mid 90's. When we run it on manual maximum cold it blows cool at best. I had the same weak A/C problem on my over the road Kenworth I, resolved that by putting a shut off valve on the "input" heater hose going into the heater core, which of course stops hot water from entering the cabin.
