TwinThing
So, I just wanted to ask and after searching on the interenet and looking in the Owners Manual, When I turn on my turn signal to make a turn, sometimes it stays on after the turn and I have to gently manually cancel it out but if I hit it too stiff then people behind me think I am going to make another turn in the opposite direction!!!, LOL. Is this normal or is this a question for the service dept. to figure out? I just had picked this vehicle up a few weeks ago and it's driving me crazy, never experienced this? Thank You TwinThing
TheWizard
IMHO, the electronic turn signal switch on recent Edge models absolutely suck! They are an example of Ford trying to fix something that has worked for 60 years or more - the good old mechanical turn signal switch. In any case, the solution for you is instead of pushing the lever in the opposite direction to cancel, push it in the same direction. For example, if you put your right turn signal on and it fails to cancel after the turn, push the lever up (right) again to cancel rather than down (left).
