SYNC won't recongize my playlists

Recommended Posts

Got an Edge last week. I have a 40G 4th Gen iPod click wheel and purchase songs through iTunes. Initially, SYNC wouldn't play any of the songs I purchased through iTunes, but I was able to solve this problem by converting all my songs from m4p to m4a files. I then updated all my playlists with the new files, but SYNC still won't recongnize any playlists. Everything else works fine. Anyone have a similar experience or know a solution? Thanks!

I have a mew MKX and the SYNC finds everything BUT the Playlists too. When I select Playlists, I get a "No Playlist Found" (?)

I have only Windows Media Playlists and Sync sees them but won't play them. Instead I get a message that says something like "incompatible playlist format"

I have an iRiver Clix Gen 2 - it does not recognize the playlists either. But I have have corrupted them and need to re-download them.

No help here - just adding reference.
