scoop1030
First time writer to the forum. Question for the computer geeks. It is a long story but the inside my 2011 edge limited got very very wet. Cleaned up nicely however the NAV system will not come up on the big screen but is up in the left upper corner and beeps when I hit it. reads NO SD CARD. The card is in the slot. I tried a dealer card and it changed nothing. The USB ports still have power. Aside from replacing the entire module any other ideas? I checked fuse 26 5 amp for gps and it is in tact. kkreit01
Sorry, but I think you are SOL. Water and electronics do not mix well at all. Over time, additional gremlins may occur. You can't really fill your interior with rice, and it would be too late for that. How much water, and how long was the exposure? How long ago did it happen? What got wet? Just the head unit, or your floor? If the fusebox got wet, I'd be worried about other issues.
akirby
Have you let it dry out completely? I would try disconnecting the battery lead for a few minutes to reset everything (after you're sure it's completely dry.
scoop1030
The inside is completely dry. Did not think of disconnecting battery. I did what they call a soft reboot. I will try the battery reset

scoop1030
A lot of water was sprayed on the front council (grandkids washing grandpa's car with front Windows down) cup holders were full of water to give you an idea. Odd thing is everything dried out and works except the SD port reading card. I got it out quickly within 1/2 hr.
