Ijustreallyliketoeattacos Posted April 24, 2019 Report Share Posted April 24, 2019 Hey everyone. yesterday I went to install my Curt hitch retriever under my 08 Ford Edge SEL. Lowered the exhaust, adjusted the heat shields. Next step was to use the Bolt leader wire to feed the bolts/plates through the frame. But damn I simply could not do it. I could get the bolt leader wire from the bolt hole out the frame end, but I could not pull the bolt/plate back through. It was getting stuck right at the frame opening. There was not enough room or something metal was blocking the opening. Judging by other installs and the videos I watched, I expected the bolts to pull back through really easily. But not at all.
