funky Posted July 13, 2008 Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 Hi, 1st post, but been reading post on here for a while. My question is we have an 08 SE FWD Edge, had it for a month. It has a black plastic rear spoiler. In the summertime, it is parked outside in the sun during the day. One day when I opened the hatch, I heard a click, when opening the door. I found it to be the spoiler hitting the paint in the corner. When we got home, I opened the hatch again, and it was not rubbing. The next day after work it was rubbing again. When siting in the garage overnight, there is a gap between the spoiler and body. After work, there is no gap between them. We went to the dealer, and they said they have not heard of anything like this. They would do some research on this. The bolts to hold on the spoiler were tight.
